Anatomical Art...by Icy?! Oh you...

half-nudity warning! ;) Mia and Jenna
In terms of Art, I used watercolor pencils-- this has been my second "official" picture using them, so excuse the lack of quality in terms of coloring. The lineart was done using a thin brush and black watercolor, so it explains why the lines are uneven and different darknesses.
In terms of concept, I used my perverted mind.
I may do more, if you so request, but no complete nudity or anything that I'm not allowed to post here ;]

That's half-nudity? Since when? D= Well whatever.
You've gotten much better at shading. I remember another picture you made that looked good but you didn't really seem to understand where exactly your light source was coming from, you've done better here. Jenna's neck, collar bones, and cleavage look the way they're supposed to.
You've also gotten much better at drawing breasticles. The way Jenna's boobs are squished together by her arms whilst also resting/being lifted up by the way she's laying on the ground looks perfect.
The only thing I'd say you should improve on is subject hierarchy. All around, "Jenna" is the louder subject here, from color choice (red beats blue every time in hierarchy because it's a warm color) to her seductive pose. I suppose this works because it suits the personalities. Jenna was hot-headed and often wanted her say in a lot of things whilst Mia was quiet and submissive.
But if you want to have these two characters in the same image, I'd suggest adding in a background with some guidelines to draw the viewer's eye between Jenna and Mia would help. As it is, all I want to do is look at Jenna. No. Not just because of the cleavage (though that is a factor too. =P)
EDIT: Just for the record the rules say nothing about tasteful nudity. So by me you can post all the nudity you want, just no actual sex. Do what other forums do and put pictuers with nudity into a link and write NSFW (not safe for work) next to them.

I called it half-nudity 'cause that's what DA would've made me check for mature filters and such.
And it wasn't really that I was creating a picture out of the two of them...they're more just two girls drawn on the same piece of paper. I wasn't really going for composition here. If I had been, I would have put a beach and water and yeah. Not going to happen--I'm horrible at backgrounds anyways.
And Caael, isn't Mia a full body shot? D:
I would have given mia a bigger rack its just that..well...I'm really picky about proportions (Seeing as how I used to SUCK back when I first joined.). And if you think about it, that's quite a boobie bump for someone as skinny as her. Also, her hair is kinda falling in front of her cleavage, which probably served to take away some of the "depth". I realize I made her arm a little too thin, but I know some of you guys like anorexic girls with big boobs, so I figured it was alright XP

Keep in mind this is coming from a skinny white kid so you can take that with a grain of salt, but it is a nice drawing. You nailed the proportions and I know that's something you've been working on.

The shading is excellent, as is most of the drawing itself. My only guff with it is that the head seems a little small for the head/rest of the body. Same with her right foot - while I understand that it's that way because of depth, it still looks unnaturally small.
Also, muscular women are kind of gross.

Perc: Thanks, I agree, I thought it was a bit small myself, but I wasn't really focusing on the face too much, so I let it go (I have a hard time of making the head the right size when I draw the body first).

As in we associate muscle mass with confidence or power?

I agree with everything in the above post.
Also, I'm not into girls with abs. Some abdominal definition is fine, but not full on abs. Not because I'm afraid of getting beaten up or something, it just isn't appealing to me. I want something I can cuddle, and you can't cuddle with a rock.

AND YOU PEOPLE! Maybe I overshaded, but the abdominal muscles weren't meant to look ripped, I just imagined a sunset to the side of her casting a long shadow and emphasizing the tonage. I don't mean women who look like this: http://www.bennadel.com/resources/uploads/..._abs_biceps.jpg (EWWW)
I mean tonage as in this: http://www.perfectbo...emire01_171.jpg (Though she has monster Quads @.@)

And before you reply with some snarky ass comment, take in the Country words of Montgomery Gentry <3 (which I listened to while drawing, so its somewhat related to the artwork as well :joy:)
I got half a mind to paint a plywood sign
And nail it up on a knotty pine tree
Saying I was here first
This is my piece of dirt
your rambling don't rattle me
Some people care about what other people think
Worry about what they say
Let a little gossip
Coming from a loose lip ruin a perfect day
Say, blah, blah, blah, just a jacking their jaws
Got a letta roll off-a my back
I don't give a dern what other people think
So what do ya think about that?

Johnny Cash is the only thing worth listening to in the whole genre.
...But how did you get even BETTER at drawing wrinkles in clothes? The knees look a little awkward, and take a look at the legs, I think they should be a bit longer in proportion to his torso.

I'm actually quite doubtful you've heard much country at all, you've just got an image in your head of what it's all about.
Paul Brandt - Canadian Man
Paul Brandt - Convoy
Paul Brandt - Didn't even see the dust
Braid Paisley - Online
idk, I haven't got a lot of country on my comp anymore so I can't think of songs off the top of my head, but brad paisley and paul brandt are favorites.
