Upcoming friday the 3rd, I will be going to the USA for two weeks with my girlfriend. Once I get back on the 18th, I'll be home for 1 day, and on the 20th I'm going to roadtrip trough Europe with 3 friends of mine for 3 weeks. So I will be back the 12th of August.

But I'll agree that almost anything other than espresso isn't worth mentioning.

Regular brewed black coffee is alright sometimes though.

Whatever you do, don't have coffee from Starbuck's. Absolutely revolting.

The best coffee I've had have actually come from smaller, local shops. Avoid the big brand names and stop by a small deli or cafe, and you'll be pleasantly surprised.

I always like my coffee as black and as strong as possible, that's why I'm a huge fan of espresso. Or even better, ristretto. Anyways, We went to Ithaca yesterday, and saw some pretty huge waterfalls and gorges. Was awesome. Tomorrow I'm going into Manhattan. We booked a hotel in midtown central. It's called the Buckingham Hotel. Really cheap trough hotwire.com. Paying $109 a night, which is IMO really cheap for the middle of manhattan. We're going there for two days before returning to Poughkeepsie (actually we are in a small village called Hyde Park, next to Poughkeepsie).

And do you guys eat Cole Slaw with everything?

I used to love Starbucks coffee. It's actually kinda what got me into coffee. But not so much anymore. I've had some bad experiences with some of their lattes.

I wouldn't say it's revolting though.


Surprisingly enough, my highschool's cafe makes amazing iced mochas. It's also run by students.

Just got back from a 3-day trip to Manhattan. Now back at Hyde Park, where we will stay for another week before going back to Holland. Manhattan was awesome, overwhelming and chaotic. Loved it, but I'm glad I dont live there.

Just a quick Hello from prague. Was in Berlin yesterday, and will move to Vienna in Austria tomorrow. Sunday we will move to Budapest, and 2 days later towards Zadar in Croatia. Gonna stay 4 days there, and then will move on to Italy by boat. 2 days in Rome, then 2 days Venice. After that Paris, and then back to home. We already have tons of pictures, and when I'm back I'll post the highlights in here.

Ayee, I am back! 2 weeks in America, and another 3 weeks travelling Europe, where I've been to Germany, Czech, Austria, Hungary, Croatia, Italy, France, Belgium and now back in Holland.
