I've gathered at least a gig of music from various soundtracks and game rips, though I'd probably have a lot more if it wasn't chewing up so much of my wimpy hard drive. In particular the complete four-disc original soundtrack of FFX.
I've started syncing them to my Nano once I figured how to take them out of the shuffle rotation. :D

Almost all of the video game tunes that I`ll actually listen to are from RPGs. mario soundtrack fails for listenability. (fake words ftw)

I remember that from the very beginning of KH1 where you're choosing between the sword, shield, or wand/rod (if I'm not mistaken)
Sounds vaguely like church music. It's not bad.

lessee videogame music; the works of Nobuo Uematsu and Motoi Sakuraba are the best in my book
though stuff by Tenpei Sato (most Nippon Ichi games), Shoji Meguro (Shin Megami Tensei), Ken Nakagawa (Atelier Iris) and Miki Higashino (Suikoden) is all awesome too

1&2 were funner than reading your posts. That's a win in my boo-- *doesn't finish, because laharl isn't worth the time; instead goes to play kh2, one of the best action rpgs of the last generation*

The game lists are ridiculously long. Some of them that I listen to are Chrono Trigger, Sword of Mana for GBA, KH 1 & 2, Castle Crashers (almost all of their music was made from users on Newgrounds), and a bunch of other stuff.
Chrono Trigger is still considered one of the best Soundtracks to a Video Game back in it's prime and today as well.
KH 1 & 2 is definitely considered amazing as well. I have both games and have completed them 100% as far as I know.
