Comments? I'd be for it if my work introduced it, save me a bundle on travel expenses alone.

I'd sure like to see this implemented though. Especially in the school system. :P

If it was though, there would be less vacation (probably no Summer vacation).

Though, I don't think this should apply to school. A 3-day weekend would be practically a mini-vacation between classes. Although, given that most of us I presume went to standard 5 school days each week, perhaps it has to be tried to be understood.

Still 4 periods a day, but some have lunch after 2nd period, and others have it after 3rd. Depending on what classroom number your third period is in.
Personally, I hate the 4 periods a day system. An hour and a half per period is overkill. 6 periods/subjects a day at an hour a period would be way better.
Then again, that could also mean more homework.

We always had 10 periods, consistently.

Unless you took the special 0 Block Schedule, in which you start school about an hour earlier, but don't have either a Block 3 or 6, and get your 0 Block Class every school day.

He makes a good point.
I'd rather have more periods as long as the teachers acknowledge that they need to give out less homework since you'll effectively be taking more classes at the same time.
For my school, we have 4 periods a day, and 8 classes total throughout the year. Some classes are year long though (like band or intermediate/advanced Algebra), so some people end up taking fewer classes. Still get the same number of credits though.
However, I still wish we had 6 periods a day at my school instead.
