Google Translation:
I'm leaving tomorrow for 2 weeks (unless people don't get packed, then I'm leaving on Saturday). Going to Palm Springs and Lake Tahoe and shiz in California and Nevada, and I'll be visiting my grandparents.
Also, Disneyland.
Also, I got my family's iPhones tethering (FIGHT THE POWER) so I'll still have internet EVERYWHERE.
See you peeps in 2 weeks

Which means stalker time. Where do you Arizonians live again...?
I'll be heading into southern california at some point as well I'm sure. Probably end up going through northern cali on the way home. Maybe.
Anyway, we passed through Vegas earlier today. Stopped and ate at "El Pollo Loco" (YES). Once you get past the fact that everyone there is Mexican, the only music played is mexican, and all the customers are mexican, it's a darn good place to eat.
No seriously. The food was delicious. Fresh grilled chicken. They even had friggin' churros.
Currently staying at my grandparent's house for the next three days. Cell coverage is kinda sparse for AT&T here (limited tethering, but my Net10 phone is still GOLD). Might make a little dough securing one of their neighbor's horribly insecure wireless network.
Oh yeah, they live in a retirement community. Bunch of old people, but it's a really, really nice place to live. The pool is awesome. The workout center is big. The houses are very tasteful.
And there are wild cotton tailed rabbits EVERYWHERE.

And really, all the immigration has really killed the mexican culture for me. I mean, I wouldn't really mind it if it wasn't absolutely EVERYWHERE now. I mean, seriously. Back home, I probably can't go a day without hearing spanish music. I'm just kinda sick of it. I don't really even enjoy going to our local authentic mexican restaurant, which I used to kinda like. But then we got flooded with immigrants.

American culture to me is like no culture at all. It's like it's just....there, you know?
Not that I enjoy it.
Seriously though. The Crazy Chicken has darn good food. No lie. I suggest eating there if anyone comes across one. They're supposed to have a few restaurants in California too.

Well, mr. smart ass, normality is relative, is it not? So to an American, america would be the only (maybe one of two *points to his country on map*) to be considered normal, wouldn't you agree?

Okeh. So. Liek, my family and I (grandparents included) went to see The Time Traveler's Wife (decent movie btw. Chick flick maybe, but still good despite that). Then we went to a fancy Mexican restaurant (lol hypocrisy. j/k) called Abuelo's. They have great enchilada's.
So. There are two great mexican restaurants in the southwest corner of the United states.
Oh yeah, I got a haircut two days ago. Now I can actually see.
[EDIT] Oh yeah, posting from teh road ftw.

Fun fact: That means Grandad's in Spanish (or whatever variation of male grandparent you want to use)

lol, I read the book >_> which was a lot better than the movie, so yeah.
The movie was a disappointment, it was just like a bunch of random clips of the book thrown together with practically no transition. BUT, Rachel McAdams did brilliantly, of course. <3

Correct, but the challenge is acknowledging that relativity. I don't see my country in a generic light, I see it for what it is - a bizarre hybrid of European and American cultures, with a slight east Asian influence. I can pick out the details of our accent too.

That's correct, but people keep making the stupid fucking mistake of saying could. Like here in Serbia, instead of saying "I'll come over unless I have to help out my dad" people say, "I'll come over unless I don't have to help out my dad." Makes no sense whatsoever.

Yeah I know. They've got a statue of an old man in the middle of the main eating area too. And the ceiling has a sky painted on it. Makes it feel really open.

Don't get me wrong, I fuggin love churros. I thought it was kinda cool they had them when I first saw one. But then I saw another. Then another. And so on. I think there were five. Possibly more. I only ever saw ONE hotdog stand. Though there was an eatery in the Hollywood area that sold hotdogs. But there was also a Mexican cuisine eatery around the Pier.
Then there was a walking spanish band or some ****.
I mean, seriously Disney. wtf.
Overall, I was a little dissappointed in California Adventures. Only three rides gave me a thrill. The gliding attraction was pretty cool though. But most of the park consists of sitting and watching.
[EDIT] And WD, I kinda felt the same when the iPhone first came out. But it really has a whole lot of really useful features. And if you jailbreak it and are a competent programmer, you can pretty much do whatever the heck you want.
The Palm Pre is pretty nice too though.

I can assume by all this mexican hate that Disneyland is the Californian one, not the Floridan?

I went to the Florida one when I was about 6, but I don't remember much.
So yeah, the one in California.
And really, I don't hate mexicans. But I don't give them the benefit of the doubt as often as I do every other ethnicity I've come accross. Mostly because most of them came in illegally.
But I'll let the churros slide. PDM gives good reasoning. I'll pass on the real-life FPS practice though.

Jailbreaking ftw.
And welcome to southwest america. We stole the land from the mexicans, so their culture is still here. Don't get me wrong, I hate it too.
Btw, which part of arizona did you go through? *is weeks late*

And actually, you don't have to jailbreak your iPhone to enable tethering, as that feature is built into the iPhone OS by Apple. You just have to download a config file to enable the feature, as AT&T has it blocked by default because they're money whores.
