We will keep playing until we are all forcibly removed. It could be by Microsoft, Bungie, our Xbox's overheating, or just lagging out. Not for competition, not for a prize, but for the love, and memory of Halo 2.

I want to thank everyone that I've played with in the past few days, this is by far my favorite memory in all my gaming history.

Which is cool, but won't these punks be delaying an extended friends list for everybody as long as they can keep playing? I could be wrong.

    Microsoft's comment:

    Quote

A small band of a committed few, engaged in a battle against insurmountable odds. It's not Noble team from Halo: Reach, it's the final, passionate few who are still playing Halo 2. We wish them the best in their battle against time. Their tremendous exhibition of courage and commitment makes them ideal candidates for Noble team and therefore we are working to ensure they have everything necessary to participate in the Halo: Reach beta.

This would be much cooler if Halo 2 was actually a good game.

There is a certain honor, and a certain awkwardness, to the dedication they have.

or they can just still play it on x-box connect. it's essentailly a free live service. it supported all games, but halo was by far it's biggest use.

There are hacked servers or whatever online that they can access with soft-modded Xbox's, where they can still play games like they did on Live. Though they'd need original Xbox's, not the crappy 360. Who even uses that piece of junk.

If these guys didn't know that, then they're just VG nerds, and not true geeks, like me. :)

you don't even need a modded xbox to use X-Box Connect.
