During GS1, when you first meet Sheba, they noted that Sheba came from Lalivero, and there it was first implied that she was an Earth adept. But in GS: TLA, she's a Wind adept. Has anyone else gotten that impression? :unsure:

Strange... perhaps. I haven't completed GS1 in a while (I recently restarted and just beat Colloso) and it is mentioned the story about her being a "Child of the Gods" (perhaps the Anemos, as we find out in TLA).

ppl in Lalivero said sheba fell from the sky, this puzzled me 4 ages and it still does, i want to know where she came from and who is she.

but it didn't confuse me, when i save her i noticed she was wind, it sorta show'd, lol

actually if you got to babi's palace, and snoop around there, you can find sheba in a room. if you use mind read on her, she notices that someones using that on her, and she's like"wait a minute did you just- oh never mind." just my light on the subject :P

Kate's right. Saturos and Menardi needed Sheba to reveal the hidden passage in the Venus Lighthouse, but Felix, Saturos and Menardi all agreed that Sheba was the Jupiter Adept needed to enter the Jupiter Lighthouse.

And Sheba didn't know Reveal. You got her to know it in Air's Rock (which she never went to). So, she must've been an Earth adept. If it were Felix, I would laugh, because Felix didn't really know much Psynergy during GS1. :lol:

I think the games screwed up in Adept classes, since in GS: TLA you'd get to use Sheba in a battle party, they'd have to choose her type. But if that ment Sheba was Earth, then Felix would be Wind. I guess it's true when they say that Sheba was needed for the Jupiter Lighthouse. Maybe they planned it during that one scene? :lol:

Perhaps Saturos or Menardi knew Reveal. It's not very farfetched. Plus, Felix was the Earth adept required to enter the Venus Lighthouse, weak as he may have been.

actually it was on their way to the venus lighthouse did they run into sheba who was in Laverio, after being returned by babi. maybe her return caused a scene, which saturos and menardi noticed and then after investigating a bit, kidnapped sheba and made her go with them. she realy had no purpose at the venus lighthouse other than falling off and being swept on to idejima with felix. therfore making the statement that fate is very much emphisized in this game :)

yes, but when you go to the door and the Laliveroians are trying to open it, they say that even Sheba could never open the door. also, Sheba doesn't learn Reveal until Air's Rock, in TLA.

I don't know how they got into Venus Lighthouse, but I think they took her, Knowing that they would need her at Jupiter Lighthouse and didn't tell Felix that at first because they knew he'd get angry if they didn't let her go. that's the most logical explination in my opinion, but I still don't know how they got into Venus Lighthouse.

Perhaps they didn't need reveal for anything because they knew the locations of hidden switches, doorways, etc... Remember, they were powerful, and quite knowledgeable about the lighthouses... just not how to navigate them, as Alex said in GS2. ;)

ah, yes. in GS2, Agatio and Karst said that Saturos and Menardi studied the lighthouses to find out about them.

as for taking sheba, like I said before, they didn't need her at Venus Lighthouse, but they knew they'd need her at Jupiter Lighthouse. realizing how protective Felix was of her, they lied and told him that they'd let her go after Venus Lighthouse.

Here's my take on it.

Saturos and Menardi studied their hearts out to know what to do in each lighthouse, but when all's said and done, they're just idiots. They tripped the trap in Sol Sanctum, and they couldn't figure out the puzzles. Just total idiots. That was already established in the gmaes.

Now, how could they reach the top if they were so stupid? They had Kraden with them. Alex could get them through the Mercury Lighthouse, no argument there. But that leaves the Venus Lighthouse a mystery. With me so far? Good.

Ever notice how other elements can have effects similar to those other elements are associated with? Cure and Ply, Aura and Wish, and Cutting Edge and Slash are but three examples. Perhaps Alex, Saturos, or Menardi had an ability that resembled Reveal. Just because you, the player, can't get it in the game doesn't mean it doesn't exist. It's also possible that they found an alternative route to get in. There's also the possibility that Kraden or someone else figured that there must be something behind those notes with the riddles and came across those switches without using Reveal (though I'm not sure if the switches could be flipped in that state, but hey, who knows?). I'm just gonna stick with them knowing something similar to Reveal.

Where does Felix come into play? Well, the statue talked to Isacc's soul. And Isaac is a Venus Adept. So perhaps the statue talked to Felix's soul as well. It seems quite reasonable to me. And it's possible that Carry could only be weilded by Venus Adepts (hey, Felix could have always handed any Carry Stone he might've had to Saturos). Yet, in the game, anyone on your team could use it.

The same thing is true with the Grindstone. Felix was the only one in his party that could supposedly utilize it. When you actually go get it, anyone could be equipped with it, even though only Venus Adepts could use it as far as the story line goes. If we assume such a thing to be true, then only Jenna and Garet could use the Burst Broach, and only Ivan and Sheba could use the Cyclone Chip and Hover Jade, so that's where Sheba would come in as far as Saturos and Menardi needing them for the Jupiter Lighthouse.

Now, why would the puzzles still be in place after Saturos' party passed them? Well, some puzzles require you to reset them once you get on the other side if you're to continue. Others automatically reset. As for the rest, there are three possible explanations: they reset them on their own to hinder you, Alex saw how stupid Saturos and Menardi were and just said, "F*ck it! Let's warp," or they just took a different route entirely.

But anyway, if Sheba fell from the sky, isn't it possible that she fell in the ocean near Lalivero? After all, 75% of our planet is water, and it looks like Weyard is pretty close to that. Chances are good she fell in the ocean, which, so long as she didn't do a belly flop, probably wouldn't kill her. Of course, I have no experience in this, but think about it. A jump off of a high dive board would kill you if it was the ground, but instead it's the water, and you're fine. Sheba just got lucky that she landed near land, or else she'd probably still be out there.

Another possibility is that because he's aligned with fire, the power of the Mars Lighthouse was kinda drawing him in. But then why didn't it affect Jenna? Perhaps it may have something to do with his inury. Like his arm was healing and thus a bit more sensitive to touch, or something like that.

Edit: Looking at that picture of yours, I can picture Mia with a strong tan, an orchid in her hair, a cloth bikini-like top (without straps, just wrapped around and tied in the back), an ankle-long dress with a V-split on the front (ending with a belt-like buckle and exposing a bikini-like bottom). As for arms, she'd have a silver trident-glaive, forearm/shoulder/shin armor that resembles lionfish barbs on sea-dragon scales (kinda like a generic Atlantis-warrior sorta armor), a matching helmet (with fin-like ear guards), and a serrated-blade bayonet (with holster, or course) tied around one thigh. As for footware, Ancient-Roman-style sandals would suffice.

I dunno why, but that sort of look would look really good on Mia.

Back on topic, that desert was never too hard for me. Every once in a while the meter would just stop, and I would just find the nearest spring and be in business.

Sometimes I just goof around in the dessert, and I try to find the spring. And then...just one more step, and I'm dead. I took a step and I got hurt. I'm like..."Oh well...CONTINUE THE DESSERT!" So I did and played.

Just cast Douse on the tornadoes. But if you want to get to the place where you fight Deadbeard...go to the big pink tornado, but dont cast Douse. Just go into the tornado, and you'll be taken there. >.> Whohoo.

Kraden's expertise. Alex's familiarity with the Mercury lighthouse probably came in handy, not to mention his warping abilities. And they wouldn't be hindered by monsters, beacuse Alex, Menardi, and Saturos are strong enough to easily crush them.

I thought it was always implied Sheba was a wind adept. For example, she used mind read, a decidedly wind-adept move, and she even looked like one.

On the subject of how they got in without reveal, the answer seems fairly obvious to me...They didn't go the way that requires reveal.

There are a billion ways they could have got in...a different way inaccessible to your part in the Bebi Lighthouse, and then blew up the entrance so that you couldn't go that way. The could have could have found a way that using Alex's teleportation abilities. For example, doesn't the door open automatically if you approach it from the other side? Alex could've warped over to the other side and opened it from there.

There are lots of ways they could've got in, Camelot just decided that they didn't show us, and that it be left up to our imagination...but there ARE plausible explanations, IMO.

Oh yeah, about Alex warping... I never really thought he could warp long distances. I thought it was like a couple of yards. Consider this: on top of Mercury lighthouse, he is carrying Saturos, and warps. Rather than warping to the bottom or to the group, he has to make multiple warps to get to the elevator. You may say it's more difficult to warp with somebody, but in the Elemental Stars Room, he only warps short distances, barring his introduction, when he suddenly appears. My theory? He probably was outside or even inside Sol Sanctum, and just like Garet, was "tracking" Saturos and Menardi's power. Once he knew where they were, it presumably would only be a short distance, unless the room was in a different dimension or something, which I doubt.

No I don't think Alex will be able to warp long distences either. He might just be able to warp across the room

All he would have needed to do, in this case, would be to warp into the place, behind the reveal door, which would be a few feet of warping.

And there are other ways to have gotten in, I'm sure. *shrugs*

where was it implied? they needed her and the rod to get into jupiter lighthouse and when she used mind read on isaac. and thats a wind psyenergy.

I'm going with mysticwarrior on this 1.In the 1st 1,you dont know what adept she is and why satty & menny need her.Cos they say that u need 1 of each adept to get into the lighthouses and they have alex for merc light,felix for venus light,the shamans rod for jupiter light and satty & menny for mars light.So why do they need sheba? -_-

Well, I was on the side where Sheba was an Earth adept, but looking through these last few pages of this topic, I have to admit that she was a Wind Adept, but it was just minor details.

So, in that case, they needed Sheba for Jupiter Lighthouse. And what do you know? In GS: TLA, you had Sheba in your party.

Now, I don't think they said somewhere where the Shaman's Rod was needed for Jupiter Lighthouse, but the king of Kalay told Isaac and the group that they needed it for the lighthouse. But if they had Ivan, they would be able to get in the lighthouse anyway, since he was a Wind Adept. So, that basically rules out the Shaman's Rod.

Now, if Camelot would have thought this out more clearly ...

Saturos and Menardi are both of Mars type, Alex is Mercury and they needed a Jupiter type, so they kidnapped Sheba, so it was my understanding from day one that she was a Wind Adept. Don't know about you lot???

Also if you speak to people they say Sheba fell from the sky? she wasn't born in Lalivero, so i don't know how you could think she is an Earth Adept?

at the beggining of TLA,sheba convinced felix and CO that she should go with them,because they need her for the jupiter lighthouse.thats the same reason saturos and menardi kidnapped her.but it confuses me how saturos,menardi,and sheba made it to the top without felix,because felix obviously went there after them,hence the 1st part of GS2:TLA...for you usualy use adepts of the type of things.you use felix at gaia's rock,isaac at venus lighthouse,piers at aqua rock,mia at mercury lighthouse,jenna and garet at magma rock,jenna and garet at mars lighthouse,and sheba at the jupiter lighthouse.so how did saturos and menardi get to te top of the venus lighthuse,anyway?

^Agreed. I dont get this debate, its so obvious shes a jupiter adept. As for Saturos and Menardi getting up that lighthouse, maybe Camelot just didnt see it was necessary to explain that as its really sucha minor detail...perhaps Felix opened it for them first...
