I played Doom 3 at a local computer center, but I won't be buying it for my PC.

The minimum requirements for Doom 3 are amazing and no computer I own (6) can run it smoothly.

2.6GBs minimum disk space (Steep for a game) :lol:

P4, 1.8Ghz MINIMUM

Just got it for XBOX 2 days ago, and let me say, it definitely lives up to the hype. Awesome graphics, audio is top notch, even without 5.1 surround, monsters are scary and awesome at the same type, weapons are cool. Another good thing about the XBOX feature is the extras (I got the collectors edition), it comes with Ultimate Doom (Doom 1) and Doom: Hell on Earth (Doom 2), plus interviews and the history of Doom. At only 90 bucks this is a great buy. I recommend it to any shooter fan.

meh. I got this for Xbox when it first came out, limited edditions are still in stores (shows how popular it is :rolleyes: ) I think it's a bit of a let down, I would've hoped for something a little more exciting.

:D Don't get me wrong, I love the the graphics, sounds, realism and monsters, but it's not that scary. Oh come one the jumping possed dogs are so the 80's. And the "evil laugh" of the devil is kinda boring. But with that said, far out man, the worshiping areas with the glowing sign and the candles with the dead dudes and the growths are awsome! I was like "What the f@(K?" and that's when it got scary. Contradicting myself? Of course I am! At the start it's totally unexciting but as soon as you realise people we're worshiping this dude and then as a favor being killed by it, it gets a bit better. I reccomend you play on the hardest difficulty with the lights off at midnight and then see how many time you have to get up to the toilet. BTW, playing in nightmare is a lot better than the other difficulties. :P

Unless thats your way of saying its an easy game. I wouldnt know since iv never played it but im going to play it eventually

He means he pirated the game or played it as a game tester.
Once I can build myself the dual SLI box I'm looking at, I'll probably get this game to "test" it out first :P

No, i'm saying it was already released somewhere then and i got a copy from a friend. Around september october somewhere. It was released in the USA then if i'm right.

But yeah it was a nice game :P
