I just now got ALL the Djinn. I have used no walthroughs what so ever during my game EXEPT once. I could not find the last venus Djinn, Bane. I found him though, and I just want to know, What's your favorite Djinn? Mine are the following:
Ground, Sap, Torch, Flash, KITE (the best), Luff, and Mist.

With Kite, you can use two attacks with one person the next round, which helps alot.

With Bane, you can do 200+ poison damage per turn, and also boosts you're original attack without losing a party member's turn.
With Flash, you can practically eliminate the enemies' attack for 1 turn. Pretty useful when you need to recover, or just plain don't want to be beaten up.

Yes your right. I still Like Bane and Kite the best. Yes flash is good as well. I like using him against deadbeard.

Defintely Kite and all three "Barrier" Djinn (Granite, Flash, and I think Shade). Actually, now that I think of it, Haze is one of my favorites (why risk receiving any damage or ailments when you can be COMPLETELY protected... it's too bad it only works on one character).

Flash has the best unleash in GS1 in my opinion cause i like doing it and making Fusion Dragon only do 9 damage on his moves.

Hehehe yes. That's why I did not find Fusion Dragon so difficult. Flash and Kite are real cool. And Bane. I mean, for one thing, how could you NOT like bane? Or kite? or flash? Beats me...

^_^ Okay, isn't this a GS1 Forum. What's Shade and Serac doin' on here :joy:
Granite is the weakest barrier Djinni, Flash is a lot better. (Shade is in GS2, but is better than Granite as well). Anyways, my favourite Golden Sun Book I Djinni is Flint, because, as with Echo in Book II, does the most damage of all the Djinn. Can't say if I like Flint better than Echo though...

My favourite Djinn are mostly wind djinn and a few other djinn that are Flash, Bane, Ground and Eddy (GS2)
Eddy comes really useful when facing either Duhallan or Doom Dragon. They can use those annoying "Djinn Blast" and MAYBE "Djinn Storm" Because Djinn Storm knocks out everydjinn in your active party so if your lucky Eddy can recover earlier (if your lucky)....

Yah I got it the one who causes cease fire is Lull it is very useful if your trying to recover djinni. That way you can recover useful djinni (after a djinn storm or the other attack) faster.

only one problem: if Djinn Storm is used, then those djinn would also be in recovery (assuming they are in your current party)...
meh, I'd suppose you'd have to hope that they would recover the fastest...

I think the one's that are already on standby recover first...
Zephyer and Coal(?) would be more useful because they'll boost agility.

Anyway Kite is the BEST Djinn. Why -_- Because next turn, you can use 2 Djinn in a row, so for example, you could use Zepher and Coal in the same turn! Or summon Catastrophe twice with the same person! Or even Iris twice with the same person!

Yes that has his utilities. However the djinni that are on standby do not recover the fastest.....
if you used a djinni lets say and it has 2 turns to be back..djinn storm takes it up to 8 turns or mo'.
