After a week of voting, Jadoku's design has won the contest. The results:

I thank you all who participated in the voting process and for all those who submitted designs. I am about 75% done coding Jadoku's design and will hopefully be able to get it up or preview it tomorrow.
This new design has an area at the top of the content area for a poll or some other small piece of content, and I would like some suggestions for what to put there. I have experienced in the past that polls get to be boring, and so other ideas would be appreciated. I liked Alex Joy's and Jadoku's designs the best, so Im glad about the winner. ;)

He came third thats not bad. I guess it just didn't interest people like the other designs.

People were looking for graphics heavy rather than something simple yet aesthetically pleasing.
I actually thought Jaduko's design wasn't all that good. I saw lots of improvements that could've been made. I would b!tch and critique it, 'cause there's a lot to critique, but I won't be an ass about it :D ;)
Oh well. The people have spoken.
I have a shoutbox on my site. However, it could be susceptible to bad spam, as my site doesn't get as much traffic as yours. The only other thing I could suggest would be a Member of the Month, some sort of GSW ranking system, or have a GS related competition and put the winner there.

Personally, I liked Andross' second design the most.
Anyways, Jadoku's design is acceptable. Good work on it!
And, with Andross, a member of the month (Although for would be the crateria?) or a sort of GSW forum rank system could work and be displayed on the mainpage.
