As first reported on GSA, a German Site has posted a list of supposed games going to be shown at E3. Under the Nintendo section there is a title "Golden Sun" for Gamecube listed as "E3 presentation unlikely - development of of the game is very likely." Many people in the GS community seem to be jumping on this and thinking that this means there will be a GS3. I personally hold something like this with a grain of salt. First off, it only says "Golden Sun," there is no "3" after it, nor any other subtitle. How do we know that this Golden Sun is even related to the Golden Sun made by Camelot? Why wouldn't this be listed under its real creator, Camelot? While I would like this to be a sign of GS3 just as everyone else, I urge everyone to wait until another source can confirm this before making assumptions or claims.

Max, if you look, there is no Camelot section. "Nintendo" is basically 'Other'. And nothing like giving me credit, eh? :P

Who knows, it could be, but I doubt that they would put it on a console. Did it say which console? Probobly not if it is other than gamecube.

How do we know that German Site is official??? If I announced there would be a GS3, that doesn't mean there's a GS3.

Bill, if I had found it first on GSAR I would have given you credit, but I didn't. I found it last week on GSA, I just haven't posted about it yet because I have been scouring the internet for confirmation of this anywhere else.

maybe to get more people to play it. there aren't very much people who play GBA. and there are a lot more who play gamecube or Xbox or Ps2... if they'd release it on one of the consoles, maybe they get higher income. and sell a lot more.

i don't think it would be a great game if they put it on the console. if you would walk in 3th person style, the puzzles would be way to big to oversee. it would be harder to fins secret spots, and walking trough the world map would also take more time, and it is easy to miss things then.

Well, GCNs are at their lowest prices... 99$. It's really cheap if you ask me. Maybe they aren't anymore...

That would be interesting to see a GS(3) in a 3D perpective... maybe it will be great! I can't wait to see the first screenshots, and the game itself!

FSOW11, have you seen them (the graphics)? How do you know they will be awesome? For all you know they could be horrible. Just because a game is on Gamecube does NOT mean that its graphics will be good or that the developers can easily make it as good in 3d as in 2d. There is no way to tell how good a 3d Golden Sun game would be because there never has been one.

as i said before, if they will make it 3d, and on a console. they must also make the puzzles less long, nad that's not fun anymore. i liked the long puzzles like Mars lighthouse. i liked all the rocks. and i hate it if they need to make them smaller.

Why would they have to shorten the puzzles? It's gotta be on GBA. If it's on GCN, that means I will have to go and spend $200 on a gamcube just to play it. And I will probably never do that.

Agatio, GC is down to $100 now, which is the equivalent of buying a GBA SP.

Actually, it depends on your location really. Different countries have different prices. Around me, it is $125-$150 still. Game Boy SP is $85-$100.

I have a handful of reasons why I don't like a GS3. An important one is that too many games wears down the quality.

I think there should be a GS3. they totally left it open for a sequel at the end. in the place where you fight dullahan there's an old teleport symbol thingie. maybe you will be able to use it to get to Anemos.

Even if they don't make GS3 this year gs3 must come out because camelot will realize that GS3 will make some money cause am sure gs is getting popular (not as big as Pokemo) but anyways am sure camelot can make a Profit of the next GS3
