Strategy:

Isaac: Attack always, but heal when needed (at least 2 people that are seriously injured, then you should heal with Isaac).

Garet: Attack. Bleh. If your desperate, you can give him some herbs and nuts to heal.

Ivan: Psynergy. When that runs out, attack. I recommend giving at least 50% of the herbs and nuts to him, since he's the fastest and can save a life that way.

Mia: Psynergy (Water beats Fire), and heal when necessary. Don't bother with psynergy, she recovers it easily.

yeah, I was confused about that :huh:
at the beginning, you just can't win... you can try though (and believe me, I tried many times when I was new to the game :lol: )
at the end... it's a bit different.

I prefer unleashing Djinn and using Summons (especially Mia's, though u might want to place a limit so she retains Wish/Wish Well)... then, I usually use Psynergy/Attack...

I hate gameshark. I will only use one if I MASTER a game. Not just beat it once. But still, all the same, I have never used one.

It just carries on as if they beat you. I used it on my emulator to see what'd happen (I didn't cheat on the actual game!).

Yep, there's no way to beat 'em at the start without cheats (not that it makes any difference). In the penultimate battle, I'd reccomend you unleash level four summons at the start (level 3 for mia), use your most powerful psyenergies with Isaac and Garet afterwards, keep healing with Mia, and Ivan...I suggest djinn then a lvl 4 summon again.

reason: Garet and Isaac's psyenergy gets replenished by the beacon before the doom dragon, so you don't need to conserve it so much. Make sure you have a psy crystal or something to replenish Mia's pp! Of course, if you're really strong, like level 45+ you can beat 'em easily just by attacking.

Ok, now for the final battle, I just attacked and used psyenergy that best affected them. I.E., Mia's.

The round after that use ragnarok/FLASH/Ivan's highest pp move/ level 2 water summon (u should have tonic and spritz on standby) which will do a good amount of damage and at the same time Garet's 'flash' will block almost all the damage from the dragon. Keep using 'flash' and summon mars (it will do the same amount of damage as heat wave so just summon it anyway). And keep using the ragnarok/heat wave/Ivan's highest pp move/wish well tactic and keeping using the earth djinn's abbilities and summoning and the dragon should be a peice of cake.

Yeah I think gamesharks are really stupid. You should TRY to beat the game on your own. If you beat a game using a gameshark, there is no pride in it. Yeah you are not supposed to beat Saturos and Menardi. It is impossible. I read on another forum that if you use gameshark, it still appears that Isaac and Garet "felled"

yeah, sorry about that... I guess I did overemphasize it in that post... got too carried away -_- sorry... (maybe that's another world flaw to include...)

anyway, when I first played GS, I tried my best to beat Saturos and Menardi as well (in the beginning)... I must have done that twenty times before I realized you can't win ^_^ I was SO angry...

You cant beat saturos and menardi at the beggining of the game. its impossible even with gameshark, it just carries on. as for saturos and menardi at the venus light house, well they are really hard........ and none of that probably helped! ^_^

I knew that the game meant for you to die against them in the beggining but I thought that If I leveled up against the monsters before the battle and try my hardest to win then I might get some special item or change the storey line. Never happened!

I've experienced when I used the GameShark for GS:TLA. It completely muffed the game and poor ol me had to go and buy a new one ^_^ -_- :(

I think you are able to increase the stats of any character as high as you can or something... that's how, probably, you can "try and beat" Saturos and Menardi at the start...
maybe get some rare items...

I'm just guessing, based on what I've heard and seen about it... sorry.

2. Edit characters
3. Edit character slots (making 4 Isaacs! Awesome!!!)
4. Walk over terrain
5. Get every single weapon in history
