OK...... So I was in the Altin mines today, and I saw the Djinn and got to him all by my lonesome. Then he ran!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What do I do???? Like, he ran from the battle. Am I going to be able to get him?

Don't worry, if a Djinni runs from a battle you can always leave and then find him in the same place. I always save right before I fight a Djinni, they usually do run.

I find that there are some djinn that run more than others. Like, Venus tend to hang around longer than Mercury or Jupiter, or maybe it's just me.

My advice: Beat them as quikly as you can with your most powerful abilties. They tend to run on me, and I was mad cuz I thought he was gone for good, but sure enough, he was there when I went back.

I think it's just me, but I tend to use powerful psynergy in the first round of the battle rather than other djinn/summons. For some odd reason, the Djinn I face either attack or aren't able to escape when I do that.

Here's also another useful tip: save before fighting the Djinni, then turn off the game, and then back on. Whenever you start your first battle when you first turn on the game, your party will always get the preemptive strike.

With djinn on the world map, you can just walk around the area where you saw them and they'll also reappear.

This topic was a year old before it was revived. Please don't make the mistake I did and revive such old topics. The member who asked this question, doesn't even come by anymore.
