Anyway, I re-bought this the other day. Why, I don't know. I guess I just had the lust to kill things. Meh.
Fortunatly, I still had all my old save files. UNfortunalty, they all sucked ass, so I deleted them.
Since then, I've practically breathed, ate, and slept all that is "Diablo"
Quite an addictive game, no?
By the way, does any one else still play this?

Everytime I get to lv 10ish, I tell myself "I should of used that point there", and thus start over.
Right now, I have a lvl 18 Assassin on B.net, and a lvl 4 single player druid (I had him at lvl 13, but yes, I started him over.)
Once you get shadow, Assassins are so fun to use. I had my merc killed deliberatly just so the shadow could do more stuff. lol.
For lvling, i mainly run through that tower thing in the black marsh. Reason being, you get shizloads of runes =]

I'll tell you all one thing:
Blade fury+Speed boost+shizloads of attack charms = a devastating long range ninja star throwing machine. =]

You see, Blade fury uses 1 (ish) mana per click, and I kill basically anything in the first act in 2-6 clicks. Put in a few runes that give you 2 mana per kill, and a few skulls, and you just sit there, away from danger while a screen full of demons get wiped out. =].
Cliche, but cool. =]
And in case you havent noticed, Blade fury is currently my favourite skill.
By the way, my single player assassin is called "Wraith". Now that's lame.

Same with my Barbarian. Boring old "click, click, click, die, loot, etc"
Quite tedious.

This is gonna sound pretty dumb, but I saw in a guide once that people max out the Jump attack skil and polearm masteryl and claim themselves to be Final Fantasy style Dragoons. I've never really considered this, as it seems weaker compared to say, a Berserking Barb or equivelent.
But who knows, maybe I'll start a hardcore Barb, call him kimahri, find a kickass spear or something and jump around like a frog, killing everything I land on. lol

I decided to try a "dragoon" sub-type Barbarian. Reason being: I hacked a lv 72 Barb with max leap attack, jump etc and loved the style. Of course I deleted the hacked character, because hacking is bad. =]

It's free, once you buy the game of course. It's a few years ol now, so some places probably don't sell it anymore.

ANY GAME created by Blizzard Entertainment is FREE ONLINE, EXCEPT for World of Warcraft. That's one reason, Diablo, Starcraft, Warcraft, and others have been so popular among the internet, and one reason Westwood fell to EA games.

Brood War Owns all. :o
When I last played, I got a hacked barbarian. Level 99(hacked of course). I useually don't hack at all, but i got some one to hack my character for me, since we jsut wanted to have some fun.

Hack a strong character -> Reign death and destruction for a few minutes -> Get bored -> Create a new hack-free character and try and make it become as strong as it's hacked counterpart.
That's how I started my Druid. Hurricane is so cool.

I never really got into the shapeshifting skills of the druid; I payed more attention to Summoning. Poison creeper was one of my fav's. Can't see it being of much use out of Act I though...

I loved rushing people. "OMG, your so cool" "THX dude!!!111"
Those were the days...
I hardly play on battle.net anymore though. Besides, I re-bought Warcraft 3 the other day. I love it. Again.
Edit: Hey Izar, 'ol buddy 'ol pal: would it be feasable to call this topic "The games of Blizzard". That way we can discuss Starcraft, Diablo and Warcraf all in one topict. Not to mention Blizzard's other games.

A ha! i Beat Baal on Nightmare yesterday on Nightmare with my Amazon (who is now lvl 65) and my Valkyrie is officially hard by taking all the minions of destructions on single handley at once. I then went onto Hell and f**k is it hard, it takes me loner to kill a zombie on Hell than a Minion of Destruction on Nightmare.

Ya'll know how Diablo and And Warcraft 3 are connected? one Word. Wirt. You can find both of Wirts legs in the game. :) They are also Items in the World Editor.

Warcraft 1&2 -- funny, and very addicted some years ago.
Warcraft 3 incl. FT -- Fantastic!
WoW -- Uber-ultra-fantastic!!!

Im considering getting WoW. Mainly because they have those nifty little pre-paid cards that I think are a terrific idea.
Diablo II can't go wrong. There are so many ways to build and exploit your character's. The fun never stops.

Anyways, who here plays starcraft? I haven't played in sooo long, but it is still one of the best games ever.

I'm now lvl 72 and have my lovely spear and Hell has suddenly become a hell of a lot easier.
And Izar it's the most powerful throwing soear in the game, even better than the Rune Words

Not this time though. Im going for the full game; beated without cheating. Well, the only cheating is that I know what's going to happen. >_>
Main reason for playing: I love the CG where Arthas kill's his old man. Frostmourne is one of the coolest swrods I've ever seen.
By the way, there are spoilers in this post. =]

C&C: GENERALS, i dunno, i've never played it. C&C: TIBERIAN SUN?...there was this mission...you started out only with 3 guys, a hijacker, a "ghost" ( think that's what he's called), and another guy...you had to free some guy from a medical facility surrounded by enemies, and laser towers, etc...so, basically, most times the guy i rescued got killed cause he was a hot headed basard who kept running AT the enemies when he was supposed to run FROM them. One time i beat that part, and after that you get to make a base and wipe out all the enemy bases. Well, i friggin ANIHILATED the enemy bases, didn't leave a single piece of wall standing, i friggin CLEANED up the whole map, and i simply wouldn't get the winning message...that's why i quit playing it...

I have a few things I want to give away in D2. Including gems, a few weapons and armours etc. They arn't 'godly", but are good enough for me to give away to someone I "know" rather than NPC them. Any takers?

No really... nobody knows why is it better, it's that special type of game that just makes you play it for hours and you cannot stop until you "make that goddamned rogue reach at least lvl. 40 to be able to ride a mount". You should try it too, it's unbelievable how can be a single game so addictive.

This is the only character in Diablo II that I've been interested in long enough to get past the 2nd act. It's a shame I find all the other character's boring until I hack a lv 99 one and run around mowing up everything with hurricane (druid) or other powerful spells. I for one can't be bothered spending the time getting a character to a level of that calibre. Anyone else?
