Legend Of Zelda: Twilight Princess Link kicks butt. Teenage style!!! [Spoilers]

I read up on a Gamepro magazine featuring this game which showed a picture of Zelda all suited up for battle. YES, Zelda not Sheik asking the question if we will be playing as Zelda as well? It didn't answer the question fully but gave hints that may lead on to think Zelda might be playable. I have yet to play a single Zelda game but I feel this game will be a good start. Don't you think?

For me, I think I'd really enjoy this game. It looks to me it'll get a T rating because of the more mature feeling to the game. I still see bits of Wind waker in there in terms of battle style though.

Yeah I agree. The Wind Waker is pretty damn good. I love the sailing to other islands and such, it has more secrets and more places that OoT had.
And I readed somewhere to that Zelda is playable in the game. I also saw a picture of her holding a sword.

My eyes got a bit wet when I saw the king die.
And yeah the Triforce hunt was kinda lame. I mean... How did Ganondorf knew that Link had the Triforce of Courage? Because Link didn't had it in the Forsaken Fortress where he met Ganondorf...
But yeah he would probarly know it because otherwise he couldn't enter Hyrule... Meh it's still cheesy.

I saw this at my local Game Crazy. They had these Twilight Princess display boxes out. They read "Reserve yours now!" with an Everyone ESRB rating on it.
This is probably all old news, however.

Plus, if you've looked at any of the recent screens, it still has that spacious beta feel to it, and crappy models that need to be fixed. It's very similar to the old beta OoT screenshots.

It looks pretty intense, like how Link stabs foes while they're knocked out on the ground. I wouldn't be surprised if Link could run over foes Halo-style while on his horse.

I can see this game being rated "T" for teens with fantasy violence and such. Anything higher would be a wierd choice to go by since all of the pervious Zelda games have been rated "T" and under.(I think)

I think that the cel shading was okay. Alright it would never replace the realistic type of graphics you get in things like Ocarina but it did allow for a more comical style which was quite good. It also showed the characters emotions quite well, like if you hit a door with your sword and Link jumps back in surprise. I agree that it would be better suited to Mario though.

But anyhoo, Wind Waker was supposed to have a happy-kid theme, so it's going to have cartoony graphics. TP has a darker theme, although if you hadn't noticed, places like towns are actually pretty bright and happy, whilst forests are darker and creepier. Nice effect.

I ended up messing one of my games up on the megadrive yesterday. I accidently got rid of all the files we had on sonic 3 and knuckles. Now it may not be too hard to complete it again but when you've had the files on their for about 7 or 8 years and, since it used to be my sister's megadrive, some of the files aren't mine it is pretty damn annoying! :P
I also played on the windwaker as all the discussion about it made me want to play it again. I did the last boss fight with Ganondorf (which is pretty good by the way) but I realised that Ganondorf doesn't look that good compared to the Ocarina version. Does anyone else feel the same way?

I suppose you're right though. When we were in Cyprus on holiday there were hardly any games there. I'm quite glad that there are a fair few places I can get games. Anyway, Animal FOREST was released on the N64 only in Japan. Animal Crossing was released 2 or 3 years ago for the GC in Japan and has not long ago been released in America and Europe.

Either it will be pushed back to the Wii and made heaps more awesome (Paper mario seems perfect for a Wii game), or it will be launched with bad graphics and boring, recycled gameplay.

Now, I was watching the Nintendo Press Conference (awesome, by the way) and while demoing Twilight Princess, they mentioned that the first part of the game will be easier so that anyone can get into the game. Does this open the door, perhaps, to say that the whole game is easier than past LoZ games? Because I'm sure hardcore fans will not be pleased.

What I'm trying to say is, the game should at least be challenging to go along with the way the game looks.
Anyhow, note that he said "THE FIRST PART". Was "THE FIRST PART" of OoT, before Link gets turned into an adult, not easy for you? Because it was sure easy for me. :P

For me, none of the dungeons are really too difficult (except for the Water Temple... shiver) as long as you have a good memory of where you've been before and what you've done before, and of course if you can picture areas in a sort of a 3D map in your brain.

I actually hope this game will be very hard, because I love a game that's really difficult! The harder the better! But I mean puzzles, not battles... I hate having to repeat a boss battle five times, though I don't think you can call a boss "hard" unless you die at least once.
