In the edit profile section, you can only choose your age/gender or the 'Prefer not to disclose option'. How about an option that removes this entirely. Upon registering I think there is nothing set, so how about the option of reverting to that? Not hugely important obviously, but I think it should be in there.

Do you mean for it to not be visible on the actual thread and just on the profile? Because if so that can easily be done.

You mean, if the gender is set to: "Prefers not to disclose" you want it to not be visible in posts?
Sounds like a fine idea. :D

I don't care either way, but "prefers not to disclose" can be misleading. We should have the option to get rid of it.

It can easily be done with something like,
Or however IPB has it setup.
Anyways, there isn't a modifaction for this and I doubt Max will edit the source code of IPB.
=)
<?php echo "<div id=\"information\">"; echo "Gender: " . $gender; if($age == "Prefers not to disclose") echo "<div style=\"display: none;\">"; echo "Age: " . $age; if($age == "Prefers not to disclose") echo "</div>"; echo "</div>"; ?>

Why don't you just make an option like:
Age:
Gender:
With a blank space.
Wow, that was hard.

What's the point of showing your age and gender if you're going to leave them blank; you might as well put you don't want to show your age and gender (since that is your reasoning behind leaving it blank).
Oh well.
Oh well.

See, that wasn't too hard. Now it doesn't appear on the side of posts, and looks fine when viewing profiles. Problem solved, this topic can be closed.
