Vote carefully and think well before coming to your decision since we need YOU to help make it happen. Don't think you're just gonna vote and Max is going to magically create an awesome fansite, we need the help of the GSSF community to make sure our forums stay alive and grow ever more active than ever before, so any effort is apreciated.

So anyway, is this going to be poll-only or what? Not much is being discussed here other than my ignorance. =P

I think the new FE game(Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance) to hit the GC would be an appropriate choice. It's new and the fan base is now way up there and is still rising plus it has tons of depth for much to be discussed upon.

That's not for sure. Capcom have announced an RPG for the Revolution..
My vote is for AW. Partly because I suggest. But also, as said before, there's a lack of good fansites for it.

Fire Emblem sites are out there, lots of them. Infact you advertise one yourself as far as I know which is the irony. As for ToS, there's also going to be ToE for the PSP so I'm sure it has sequal if you decided to choose that. Sadly I've never played ToS but I look forward to buy ToE since I need a decent RPG for my PSP.

And what's wrong with Zelda and Fire Emblem? I think they should be on the poll to.

Anyways, as for my vote, I voted for Tales of Symphonia/Eternia because I might be able to help with material for those games.
But we should consider FE: PoR.

GO TOS!!! YOU CAN STILL DO IT!

Anyways, Advance Wars looks like our first game to be covered. I guess, like Eugine said, we can start thinking about the next game to be covered. Should we make both sites at the same time, e.g. one team works on Advance Wars while the other team works on Animal Crossing, or should we do this one at a time?
I'm still rooting for Animal Crossing, the games just look so... complete. B)
EDIT: By the way, should we really make a site for FE: PoR when we're already going to do Advance Wars? I mean, they're both strategy games, maybe we should actually do an actual RPG this time?

Before you start *****ing about what fansite you would prefer over AW. Ask yourself what way is it better than the AW series? What makes it good enough to be used instead of AW?
Also, there is no point starting a vote for our next site now. No need to rush, we need to take this slowly and think carefully before making each move otherwise we will put alot of effort into this just to see it flop. We must always make the BEST decisions for everything, not just good decisions. We will vote for the next site AFTER we complete the first, until then there will be new games, new opinions and less to worry about.

1. Popular series.
2. potential for a great community.
3. great, high quality, addictive games.
4. there's sure to be more high quality, addictive sequals and most importantly...

The only thing I think I could contribute is that I make and record my own music, which has nothing to do with Advance Wars? I also used to make AW sprite comics...

I would also like to help out with this site. I've pretty much unlocked everything in my game, so I think I must be pretty good at it.

I'm still rooting for ACWW. There's a lot of content to be covered, and it's also a lot less work in a sense, since we wouldn't need to do a walkthrough.

It's made for the GBA, so no worries there in terms of people not being able to grab it( since GSers have GBAs), but it has the gameplay style of Tales of Symphonia. Win win, right? Heck, I don't know if this game is even out yet, but it's worth looking in to for the community.

I've not played the Tales series, even though I've heard a lot about them. Maybe I could work on sprites/images ot something if we chose Tales.

So what was the phucking game we chose? If it's AW, I can do strategies. Soon, hopefully, I'll be able to help make the actual site. I'm just finishing learning all the stuff.
