Yeah, Nook is back, but this time, he's a lot nicer, and cooler in some ways. Anyways, I spent from 3:10pm til oh, 4:45 today doing...absolutely nothing. I ran from tree to tree, shaking them to see if they had any spare bells, made a pattern and applied it in the shape of a race track to the ground outside the town hall, talked with folks, and couldn't do anything Shopping or house increasing wise, since Nook had upgraded my house last night, and then decided to expand his store today, so I haven't been in contact with him for a good 18 hours.

Considering I pick it up at least once every three hours, no matter the circum stances, that's 6 or 7 times a day(starting at 6/7 am, then 9/10, 12/1pm, 3/4pm, 6/7pm, 9/10pm, and sometimes at midnight too. I only skip one section, the 3am one, and that's just for sleep :P

So yes, that's called addicting.

Anyway, to answer your question Zxor, a fast way to make money (and the way I payed off my mortgage on my second day of AC) is to build a snowman by rolling a ball of snow (make sure not to step on it by running or kick into a tree/house/water) until it's huge, then rolling a very slightly smaller snow ball on top to make a snowman. The next day, you should get a letter from him. I've made two snowmen, and they both mailed me snowman-themed furniture. It's worth A LOT if you sell it to Tom Nook.

Another way to earn fast cash is by fishing for olive flounders, at the Ocean. They sell for like, 800 bells. But since it's winter, you may not find them that often, though I've caught quite a few...

I think that might mean that their friend code has yet to be confirmed. I noticed that you can edit the "Triangle" people's code, but not the "Circle" people.

When i play MKDS it disconnects automaticaly after 10 minutes because my router transmits at a rate higher than 2 but ACWW doeesnt.

I've got another tip & trick to getting quick cash.

If you strike rocks with your shovel, sometimes Bells pop out, if you keep striking it quickly you can get major cash. Dig holes around you in a sort of a V shape in front of the rock around you to make sure you don't move backward from the impact, so you can strike it faster. :P

And I caught a bee today. The kind that stings you. It can't hurt you if you have your inventory open, so just equip your net after shaking the tree that it cam out of, press B, then press A like mad until your character catches it.

B) It's worth 5,000 bells. Just don't forget to give it to Blathers the first time you catch it. Also, you get two trees filled with bees a day, I think.

Three trees a day, actually WD, and the best trick for catching bees is to face the camera before you open the menu, because you move to turn to face the camera when you equip the net, unless you're already facing the camera, and then that offcenters the bees, making them harder to catch. Definately use button control with bees though.

And I have all but one fish from the river this season, since I have all the ocean ones, 23 total I think so far.

And yes WD, I have the pirate hat too, along with a Hitler mustache! D:
But I prefer the robber's mask and shirt, or the space helmet and suit, or the golden armor and king tut mask.

Yey i just one of the BETA items except i got it officaly which sorta makes it not a BETA anymore but who really cares.
Its the Coin , a great item like the one from the Super Mario Series.

You can get it if you accept downloads from the online server and log onto Nintendo WFC and then reset the game.

You will recieve a message in the Mail from S. Itawa which has the Coin attached

One thing that annoys me is when a resident sees me, he/she may form a "!" obove their head and run over and want to engage in dialogue with me. This in itself isn't bad, but sometimes another resident will do the same thing while I'm talking to the other resident.

So I'll rush through the first resident's dialogue to get to the other resident, but sometimes it's too late by that time. x_x;;

Dangit Zxor, I'm so close to a tie to you. I already missed Gulliver's ship once, I won't miss it again! So I'm on my SECOND round of 15 gifts...close to 9 shot down now I think. Just spread your flowers out a bit. Make sure that each area has some flowers somewhere

If that doesn't work, plant new flowers near existing flowers. If that fails, plant more trees, too.

Nooo, WD, actually, you have a set limit to how many people can come into your town at the same time. You'll always have at least one sign open, for traveling characters to set up events( for example, Gulliver's UFO crashes on an open house spot, since it's the size of a house, and remains there for the rest of the day).

EDIT: Oh by the way. If you're delivering a letter for a resident, DON'T OPEN THE LETTER unless you want to tick of the resident you're delivering it TO (presumably to make them want to move). Opening a letter will not annoy the person who wrote the letter.

At the beginning of the game, after you're done doing chores for Nook, shake trees until you get 500 bells. When you get that 500 bells, buy a fishing pole and fish until you pay off your first debt. Your first debt may seem like a lot of money at first, but believe me, it's not all that bad. In fact, you can pay it off in a day if you know how, and can, catch the stinger bees that come out of the trees sometimes. (3 or 2 trees in your town a day, I forget which)

Avoid spending a lot at the beginning, except to buy tools (such as a shovel, a watering can, etc.) as there's plenty of time to load your house with furniture. Once you get all the tools you can get (shovel, watering can, net, fishing pole, axe, slingshot, timer [optional]) then you can invest your money in anything you want.

Note that the first few days or so of ACWW are going to be very dull, as you'll be limited in things you can do due to the fact that you won't have many tools. But you can "fast forward" the time to the next day by changing the time on your DS, to make Nook's shop re-stock. I don't recommend this though, as it can do some pretty funky stuff to your town, such as making flowers wilt way too early and things like that.

And that's all you really need to know.

Man, I hadn't played this game in DAYS. My good ol' sister kept the residents from moving though. Didn't pluck the weeds or water the flowers, so I had to do that myself today. I still got my perfect town rating, though. :)

I was thoroughly shocked yesterday to find my trees were no longer brown. Twas awesome, until I realized it didn't bring any new fish to the rivers/sea.

After getting my Golden Watering can...my town kinda went into a rotting state. I hacked down all the trees on one half of my town, grew an orchard on the other half. xD
