Well, I Know You're Tired Of Ragnarok Online. So here's a private server (meaning, it's FREE).

http://www.kkro.net/
It's missing a couple pieces here and there from the original international edition, but it's not to say that it's still not addicting as the real thing as I see it fit. I'm sure most of the people here are sick and tired of all of these MMORPGs like MapleStory and Lineage II, but there's no other game--besides ACWW--that should suck up my time between homework and school. In fact, those four things are what keep me preoccupied, with homework being in the front seat.
So I figured, heck, if I can at least leech some people with me besides my wife on there (who introduced the server to me in the first place), I might at least feel some certain sense of accomplishment and not have to deal with the build-up of newbies to noobs on there, among other things that churn me.
That's not to say that I'm forcing you to play it. Heck, I'm sure you have your own trivial time to spend on other things. But it wouldn't hurt to try, now, would it?

I still don't get the rates thing. If it's lower, does that mean it's better?

I always wanted to play Ragnarok Online but couldn't because my connection was too slow and would randomly disconnect. Then the beta testing ended and they started charging people to play it so I never bothered.
This server sounds like a good opportunity B).

It sure does, but it's got somewhat of a crappy community of misfits and toys. They have their fair share of useless whining from other servers like VanRO. Plus, some of the GMs (at least 6-7 in total) are total arse wipes if you know what I mean. Oh yeah, and watch out for NecroSoul; he's an Agatio wannabe right off the bat, as I've been told.

I love RO, I hate private servers.
The only thing that stops me from playing RO is a lame computer. The monthly fee is a little sad but I can manage, but until I get a good computer I refuse to enjoy the dated but amazing world of RO.
