    You see the little row of squares beneath your rank name? I was wondering...are those squares seperate or are they just one big image? I MUST KNOW THE ANSWER.

          Tsk, Tsk... If Max was here he'd give you a perfectly good reason why he used this method... You'd feel embarassed and then ask for this topic to be closed...

            Waste of bandwidth? I guess it balances out really. Having one image, it gets cached by the browser, so it just needs more markup code to display than one image would. But have multiple images would mean the browser would have to cache multiple images, which would offset the extra code needed to display the same image multiple times. So it doesn't really matter either way.
