Remember all the stuff about Camelot developing another RPG, that wasn't for the DS? It's looking like it's definately going to be on the Wii.

IGN.com has just posted a game slot for an "unnamed" RPG but an "unnamed" developer, but I think we all know who it is. Keep an eye on that page, might end up being something big.

But we do know that Camelot is already in development of an RPG. Either way, this seems to confirm that it's for Wii.

This could be anything.. But camelot have already announced an unnamed RPG for the revolution, or as it is now known, Wii.

I still say it's going to be a GS3. I mean, why wouldn't it? Camelot always said they liked the GS series, and if I'm correct, they said they might make another. It's not for sure, obviously, but it seems like a good guess.

Well, Wii IS the official name of Nintendos next Gen console.
I hope IGN IS right, I'd really like to see a GS3 on the DS, but I guess I can settle for the Wii.. Hopefully it'll release at around 150 AUD.. That would be awesome ;]

I know this... And I'm almost 100% sure that it'll be GS3. I read an interview with Camelot a few years ago where they said they love the world and characters they created with GS and want to make more. But I SO want it to be on the DS!! It's not fair...

This makes the chances of Isaac appearing in Smask Bros. even bigger! But that's a different story for a different topic...

Yeah, I sincerely agree with Aqua.. Why can't it be on the DS?! The DS is going so well, I think releasing another Golden Sun would be a phantastico idea, if it was on the DS..
Anyway, Yeah, it's pretty set to be the next GS..

If it is GS3, I have to guarantee myself that I am getting the Wii when it comes out. If it is anything else, I'll have to see how it turns out, but Camelot has never let me down in any game.

If it was to come out on Wii, I'd wait to see which other games came out as well before deciding to get it. I'm not someone who can get a console just because I see 1 game that I like. I'm not saying that it's a bad idea to do that, it's just my opinion.

It's also possible that Camelot might create an RPG under the Golden Sun franchise, but take place in another universe (similar to Final Fantasy, Fire Emblem, the Tales RPGs, etc.).

I wouldn't mind a different setting, as long as you can see the ties to the previous games.

Well there is the small chance that it isn't GS3. Not all RPG's made by Square begin with 'Final and end in 'Fantasy' now do they?

Also, remember that Weyard is constantly changing through the power of the lighthouses. Even if it took place in Weyard, if Camelot chooses to have it take place like, 500 to maybe even 1,000 years after the original GS games, the land would be a completely different place to travel.

                                          Adds to the gameplay.

No reason why it couldn't be a prequel either.

SoT and I already discussed a lot about the possibilities of it being a prequil or sequil in the GS3 topic (Starts at post 501) . Personally, I prefer a sequil because it continues on the storyline instead of taking you back

A prequel would be cool, but yeah, making it a sequel would be better. And once again... PLEASE MAKE IT A DS GAME!!!

A prequel might be able to set up a sequel better because they could introuduce some new elements and dimensions to Weyard that have been implemented long ago. Then, they could release a sequel. You know, milk this series for all its worth.

Let's not forget, the sequel will have a better impact story wise, because the peopel of weyard were so long stripped from Alchemy that their would be more action taken in order to make up for lost time with it.

Yes, or new dijin & old dijin. And after all the previous Q's are answered, will there be more?

But seriously, if you want good opinions on both sequil & prequil, go to the GS3 topic. Seriously. It's easier to answer Q's and feuds with it.
