I have recently got into manga, and have started to draw it. I dont colour Manga by the way, so no flaming about that.

    http://img519.images...0001jasc7qd.jpg

That's my first drawing. It was a try at a background, but it's not that good background. )=

    http://img277.imageshack.us/my.php?image=s...002image9bd.jpg

They might take a while to load. So, what you think?

EDIT: There is no way I could draw this on my first try at Manga. These were improvised by me. The first one is mainly me, I just needed to copy the clothes. I also stole the pose. The second one was originally straight-haired and I made it curly.

      I have to say this-

I am VERY impressed at the level of quality here.

And I am hard to impress ;P

Again I dunno whether you want to improve or whether it is for fun or not so I won't go into critique.

      Good job, post more

Thanks Kiku!!! At the moment, I am illustrating somebody's book in Manga, which should be fun. Apart from that thouhg, I dont know what to draw. I'll accept requests or whatever and hopefully, I'll read it in less than a week! =D

That's pretty darn good. The only thing I would complain about, though, is that everyone goes for the Japanese style these days... even American/British kids. =(

I can draw, I just go for my own cartoony style (with a bit of Bill Watterson inspiration) which some people might say looks like a 6-year olds drawing. I'm just like: "That's what I'm trying to do!!"

You know what I want to know? In Japan, do any of the girls actually wear that dodgy unifrom with the miniskirt?

Aside from that, pretty good methinks. I like the shading on the first one.

I don't particularly like the second one's face though. I think the eyes are too far apart.

I like the shadings, well the manga is like old CLMAP style rite? Pretty good nontheless.

Thanks people! The style was just how I learned to draw it, cuz i dont even know what CLMAP is.
The second one was a bit dodgy on the shading, because when I scanned it in, the light shading didn't show up, and no ammount of editing would get it back, which i'm annoyed about now.
I need requests of what to draw peopleses!

Hmmm... You can draw... Er... *Thinks hard*

DRAW RAPUNZEL! *Randomly gets shot on the head*

                      Grah >_O

Anyways... Iunno, inspire yourself with random stuff! =D

That's mainly what I do xD

So... If you want to draw something... Can you draw someone with an arrogant expression on his/her face and a laid back pose as if saying: I'm better than you *Smirk*

*Hides before she can get shot*

okay, that sounds fun. It might not get posted for a while, as I need to scan it with my dodgy scanner, and then edit it to make the pencil lines darker and easier to see.

Not too good. I've drawn the smug person, but I cant scan it yet. When I do, please dont comment on the clothes or proportion, the drawing was solely for the purpose of showing emotion in the face, which is what i need to work on, as at the moment, I seem to only be able to draw happy people. Once i have the faces right, I can work on the clothes.

Emotions are easy if you draw like me! I'd say that emotions are my strong point, actually.

Like if a person is unhappy, make the mouth huge and frowning because in my opinion, the mouth is the key... thing... that expresses unhappiness. Then make the eyes smaller to make the impact of the mouth greater.

Angriness, make the eyes bigger and the mouth smaller since eyes express anger more...

And do it like that. Think about what expresses the emotion the most. This worked for my drawing style, at least.

                                  I wish.

That stuff's pretty impressive, Caael. In my perspective, if you shift the eyebrows even slightly, it would reflect a drastic change in emotion. You could turn a happy look into a "WTF?!" look.

It usually generally means that there's something wrong with it.

"That car looks Dodgy..." could mean that the car may be stolen or broken down.

"That man looks a bit Dodgy..." could mean that he's suspicious or dangerous.

                                      Kapeesh?

Thanks, Somia! :P I hate my scanner. It doesnt work, EVER! Which, in a way is a good thing, as I have draw some more crud today. It's on lined paper, I was just experimenting with female hair styles. When my scanner is working again, I'll have lots of drawings to show.
                                        Thanks for the support, guys!

Wow, drawings that don't suck as bad as expected. That's a nice change.

Still, lots of room for improvement, and I mean lots. But better than the usual sh*t I have to look at.

Wow, a compliment from Anubis. Man, that's an achievment. I should have the drawings up by sunday earliest. I'll take up to 3 requests at a time. More than that an i'll be bogged down.

WD, it's not even english/british slang. You should know what it means.

Interesting, you should draw some Hentai for me.

I'd give some examples but there are religious people here who don't apreciate my porn.

I drew some comics, but face it, they sucked big time. I'll have more drawings up as soon as comp is fixed, as the scanner is connected to my Dads comp which is in for repairs. Sorry I havent posted much in my artwork XD.

Anubis, no way am I drawing you Hentai, XD. I would if I could, but I cant so I wont.

This can be closed. My scanner is broken, and theres no chance of it being fixed.
