New Plans

I have recently made plans with former forum-regular Andross to have a new design made for GSS. The goal of this GSS overhaul project is for me to turn GSS into a finalized, archival-quality repository of all information relating to both Golden Sun games. The forums will stay around, but when the site is complete I won't be posting news on the front page anymore, just on the forums. I expect that this project will take into September or October to finish, especially since I want to make this as perfect as possible.
Please go read the GSW news page, as this causes some changes in that project's future.

Seeing as the design is a combined effort of you and Andross, I think perfection is as much an arm's grasp away as can be asked for. Like I echoed in the other topic, I really want to see how this comes out.

Figured I'd stop by.
We've come to an agreement on everything and the design is underway. I will be doing just the aesthetics, Max will be taking care of coding. I'm aiming for a clean design, very modern, geometrical, simple. Colors will be a darker background with some complementary pastels for headers and a white bg for the content area.
If you folks have been wondering where the hell I went, it was due to school and photography, which are basically the main things going on with me right now (in addition to freelancing in web design).
You can check up on my work at my site, http://andrewhefter.com/photo if you're interested. I've also got my devArt still going and a Flickr - those wanting to get back in touch with me can go through those routes.
That's all there is to say I guess, hello again and see y'all later.

I'm glad to see this happening. It seems like there's been less and less GS-related discussion around here lately.

If you need any extra help with anything, I might be able to pitch in.
And Andross, those photos are amazing!

Update for everyone.
Max and I went over a first draft real quick. Pastels will be changing to a more neutral color. I will be trying something with a blue-steel look to it for the general scheme. Also updating the header to represent all eight main GS characters. Hopefully there won't be too many changes after this second draft.
btw, thanks Mr. T =]

Sounds like a good idea. To have all the charcters in there makes it feel more complete.

This should be a good jolt not only for this site, but for GS in general. Glad to see this is happening and even happier to see that Andross and Max are running the show. Good luck guys!
