You know I initially suggest for us to do AW?
Oh.
I'm so great..
And toasty, that banner I showed you.. Don't really expect that to be the final.. =\ It's preeeeety ****ty.

In which case, I stand by my comment.
EDIT: My photoshop friend asked what you were paying, by the way.
#7
Posted 05 August 2006 - 08:36 AM
And what ARE you paying, by the way?
#8
Posted 05 August 2006 - 10:48 AM
And I don't think anyone was expected to get paid.
Edite: Nvm... Stupid Question. It's Advance Wars.

All I am good for are sprite rips, really. I can provide a simple layout, though, for testing purposes.
EDIT: I might put together a small layout choice, given that the banner is made elsewhere. I'm perfectly capable of doing the headers and sidebars and the like via a semi-Photoshop program (Paint.NET)

And by the way, I don't really see how it's even possible to pay anyone unfortunatley, but you will get credited for your help.

That would be funny if you've seen What's Up Doc.
I like making banners. Its fun. I've never actually tried a layout before, way to lazy...

[EDIT] This is the outline of the layout I'm using: http://img459.images.../outlinevu1.jpg
And when I get around to making another layout (after the site is up and running smoothly) I'll try and get this up instead (or as an optional skin): http://img66.imagesh...outline2qt6.jpg They'll both have blue color schemes, but the second won't happen for quite a while.

That, is beautiful. * cries * It's perfect!...But I'll just have to wait until everyone else is done. I want to see what they all look like. Continue working on it though, if you think you can make it even better.

Also. I'm not having much luck with a good interface. Toasty, please give me some idea of what you want the interface to look like. Not just a template.. Just give me a small sample.. Thanks.

This is what the site is likely to look like. Again, it's not 100% sure, but this is a rough draft of what it might look like.

The one I posted could use some widening on everything below the banner though.

Normally I would pick the faded colour banner, but in this case, bright colours stands out in the grayness of the stones.

Well, I've got all the pages working, and I can put content into them, but I still ned to put PHP in it. It's just so darn confuzzling! I will now go make another topic for content help, somwhere....
