I was wondering if anyone around here played DnD or have played any of the disappointing games. I'm quite a hardcore player at the moment and have killed my money supply this Christmas on it. But meh I'm 13 what am i gonna do with money...

Spend money on things that don't waste your time? MMORPGs are a waste of time. All they do is take your money, and if you decide to get sucked into it, your friends and family. I'd rather play something that has a point to it. Not just random quests going nowhere.

Get NWN 2. It has DnD 3.5 and is an awesome RPG.

I don't count NWN as a DnD game I call it a Beginners Back. NWN shows the player the DND rules with out you having to physicaly roll dice or anything making it a fun enjoyable game however but then again it is made by Bioware who are know for doing great RPG's. Baldurs Gate and any other game like it eg: IceWindDale are disappointments.

Still I play the pen and paper game. You know with minatures and dungeon tiles and lots of books that you can buy to add more stuff.

I guess it's your opinion, I'd rather get into the game without all the pen and the paper.

I can see why it can be taxing but the pen and paper game has more charecter flexibility.

Eh, I don't play D&D. It's hard to, after seeing what it has done to a friend of mine. *shiver*

I probably could get into DnD, but I really don't feel like doing all the work. But I know the guy with the highest character stats in the country. He has so many notebooks full of stuff...

Its not actually two much trouble to start. I bought the Dnd basic game to get a fue minatures and a useful begginer guide and stuff then bought the Player Handbook since then ive just built my collection of books seeing as my sister enjoy messing with the minatures and loosing them I tend to play more then run games. Though in the UK there really isn't to much intrest :(.

So, in that respect, you're the complete opposite of me, who wouldn't touch D&D for cash and is totally obsessed with Magic.

Lol. I was thinking would any of you guys be intrested in a RPG here on GSS based on Golden Sun? I thought it would be quite fun playing our own made up charecters in our of adventure.

That would be fun, though I'd be unwilling to play a game like DnD for hours.
