Shadowbane is an MMO like no other. You don't go around with your friends on quests to become and uber high lvl and beat all the baddies.
It is basically like real life in a fantasy world. So you start out in a city and you lvl up until you can leave said city. After which you join a guild and pledge to a specific city. Then once you are good enough, you go and siege another guild's city. You try to get your guild to take over as much as you can so that you can be a leading guild.
Once you are high enough you can also create cities yourself, but most of the continents are filled to the max with cities so it is easier to siege one and then take it. If you have any questions, they can be answered here: http://www.shadow-grove.com
You can find the download on the Shadow-Grove's forums.
And here are some screens: http://internetgames...n/blsbindex.htm
Hope you like it as much as me and my friends do.

Looks to me just like any old MMO. I won't play it, but then again I don't really have much time for those kinds of games.

This genre is becoming as stale as the WWII game genre. I hope that what you say is right, and this game is different because I'm getting tired of people saying that "their game is the greatest".

Well here I need to give you this info: I am definitely not claiming that it is the best game ever, I just think it is fun.
Secondly, I am planning on covering a much better MMO using my http://www.shadow-grove.com site, that is aimed to be different then regular MMOs.

It looks like a step down from WoW, but still a bit interesting. I might try it if i've got nothing else to do.
