Before you slide down, save your file and remember to set Pound as a hot key. Once you slide down, you will activate the statue. Race with the statue, and make sure you reach the other end before it lights the torch and a huge fireball blows you away. Enter the northern door.

In the next room, ignore the teleport symbol, and go through the door directly in front of you. Move along until you reach a room with a dragon head. Go west and climb the ladder. Move the dragon statue to the east to block the flame. Now go all the way back to the room where you ignored the teleport symbol.

Stand on the teleport symbol and use Teleport. You will be brought to the place where you blocked the statue's flame. Climb the ladder, go east then south to the next room. Move along and you will eventually reach a room with a big hole and plateforms.

Here, walk down the stairs. Go west and jump onto the ledge south of the staircase. You can jump to the eastern part to get a sword. Be careful not to slip off the ice. After getting the Sol Blade, purposely slip off the ice. You will land in an empty room. Go up the stairs. Exit through the southern door. You will then be down in basement 3.
