If you had the choice to see only one movie this year. What would it be?
    Mines would be Spider-Man 3.

... then HP: OoTP, then PoTC 3, then Shrek 3 ^__^

Ratatouille. Or however you spell that. I honestly don't really care about any of the sequels. After that, probably Spiderman 3, then PotC 3, then Shrek 3. Why is it still called Pirates of the Caribbean if they're not actually in the Caribbean?

Probably Spiderman 3. Surely they couldn't get another film which is better than the original?

Good point that. Wouldn't sound so good if they kept changing the name for each different place they visited though.

I would see Harry Potter #5 . I could probably deal with not seeing Spider-Man.

Definitely the third Pirates movie for me. -_-

Can't wait to see how the trilogy is wrapped up, especially after the very cliffhanger ending that was Dead Man's Chest.

That's a tough one, I'm not really that excited about any movie that's out now... I guess I'd go with Shrek 3 if I had to choose.

Spiderman 3. Then PotC 3, then that rat movie thing FD mentioned, then Shrek 3. And last but not least, Star Wars Episode 7!

I really REALLY doubt SW: Ep 7 will be out any time soon.

all very good sounding movies. i defenatly agree on the movies with three, shriek, spiderman, and pirates. but i think that the Halo movie, if, and that is a big IF, it comes out will wipe the floor with everyone else. except the next fantastic four movie with the silver surfer.

I really didn't like the original Fantastic Four though. It just wasn't that good. Then again all the superhero films are weak compared to Spiderman.

Spiderman 3 was a horrible movie. I felt the need to walk out an hour before the end. It was probably the dance number and the emo hairflip that did it. I recommend anybody who planned on seeing it, wait until DVD to experience the horrificness.

My new choice would have to be HP5, the new trailer seems to make it a must-see.

of all the HP books, HP5 would make the best movie.
Highly unlikely they will pull it off though, knowing how the last 4 turned out...

There's a lot of story to get in a movie though. Do you think they'll fit all the events of HP5 into a 2-3 hour film?

I don't expect the movies to be as good as the books. I want them to be entertaining and tie the story together well, all while staying true to Rowling's vision. HP5 should be a good time.

Actually the more I think about it the more I realise how much hp5 had that can't be cut out:
dolores and all the ministry stuff
the beginning (best start to a hp book ever, she nailed the teen thing so well it's amazing and hilarious at the same time)
                                                            voldemort etc
                                                            the hospital
                                                            the exams
                                                            harry's love life
                                                            the end (looooong)

I expect it will be just like every other hp movie. Targeted at an audiance 5 years younger than what the books are, bad actor selection, and so busy trying to cover all aspects of the story it's hard to follow and doesn't resolve nearly as well as the books do.
