- Upgraded to Invision Power Board 2.2. This includes new anti-spam-bot measures, and several other new features. Highlights include a revamped member profile page, and a modified post editor screen. More information can be found at the official IPB website.
- New default skin based on the pending new site design. We have automatically made this skin the default for all users, though you are free to revert to the old elemental skins if you prefer. There are currently some bugs with the old skins due to the upgrade process, but I will be working on fixing them. This skin is based on a design by Andrew Hefter (aka Andross).
- Merged Site Suggestions, Forum Suggestions, and Forum Help into a single forum. This should streamline the feedback and help process.
- Moved the GSW forums into a single sub-forum under the "Site-Related" Category. This will save space until the release of GSW this summer.
- Merged the General Discussion and Help forums for each of the Golden Sun games into single forums. Now each game has only a single forum.
- Added a Golden Sun 3 discussion forum. Only moderators can add topics to this forum, but topic ideas can be posted in the sticky-thread for review by the moderators.
- Reorganized "Miscellaneous" section into Entertainment and GSSF Square. This will allow discussion outside of prescribed "pinned" threads, and should allow smaller, more specific topics.
- Added "User Contests" subforum in "The Lobby" category. This is the place for all contests that you, the users, make. Member Awards and other such topics should go in this forum in the future. Anyone can create and participate in these contests.
- Added a Role-Playing subforum in "The Lobby" category. After so many requests, we thought this was a good time to finally allow a dedicated role-playing space. This will remain relatively unmoderated for now, as rules and moderators will be put in place over time.
- Added a new "Veterans" usergroup. For members with over 1500 posts, you will be automatically promoted after posting your next message. Members of this usergroup have increased PM storage limits and can also change their username once every 6 months (without admins manually doing it).
