Thriller Novels Suggestions?

    Any suggestions on thriller novels? Basically, the sort of late at night, can't-put-this-book-down thriller that surprises, amazes, shocks, and keeps it up throughout.

    Also, I typically don't like very long books, so nothing over, say 400-500 pages, if possible. Thanks.

      Anthony Horrowitz: the Alex Rider series. Absoloutely brilliant teen fiction.

        Hmm, I'm sure I've heard of that series before... how many books are there?

          So far there's...about six. He's currently writing the new one, probably the last in the series.

            And there's a movie. And a game, I think.
            I hear they both sucked. The books are good though, I'd recommend them. Then maybe try Ravens gate, another Horrowitz book..
