Compatible with Google Maps and Google Earth, the new Street View has once again landed Google in trouble on account of privacy complaints. As of recently, small icons have been dotted around the map indicating where street view applies. When clicked, these provide a panoramic view of the area taken by one of Google's vans. This feature only works in some cities for now.

If you look at the news sites, Google is open to requests for removal of certain parts of photos for privacy or security reasons. There was apparently a lady who could see her cat on the windowsill of her second-floor apartment. :P
