Potato chips. I mean what a dull name for food.
And then you call real chips 'fries'. Why?
American 1: "Hmm we need to call this food something else to show how independant we are. We fry them so what should we call them?"
American 2: "FRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRIES!"
American 1: "Genius! Now let's take Rugby and make it far less entertaining, then give it a name like football despite the fact we hold the ball! We can even call real football 'soccer' and then mock British people for using their name for a game they came up with!"
American 2: "FRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRIES!"

That hurt Me111. That hurt my soul.
And they're called french fries. But why the hell would you call them chips? They don't even look like a chip of any kind at all! Edible or non edible! When you break a potato chip, you get chips. Just like if you hit a brick with a hammer a whole bunch of times.
And the only difference between football and rugby is the pads, and the easily bribed ref's.
