I was bored on Smashboards, and posted an idea for the next Metroid game, which involved a war between the Galactic Federation and the Space pirates, and then I thought I could put it in the RP here.

You choose wether to be with Ridley or Samus in this war, or a bounty hunter in which you take no sides. ( I know Samus is also a BH, but she works for the G.F.) I'm going to be different and choose Samus this time. There's 3 sections of the War

1) The ground battles. These take place on a planet of your choice, so Aether, Zebes, Tallon IV, SR88, Vho, Cylosis, Mondreus, Grondheim, Dormine II, Twin Tabula, Bilium. Any of those planets

2) The space battle. This is everywhere around the planets. Like the starwars battles, but better, because it's metroid.

3) The frigates. These are scattered between planets. They are either for the GF or SP, but you can conduct raids on whatever, but these are mainly safe havens for the sides.

You can switch between these locations when you have access to a space ship, but you must go through the space battle to get to wherever you are going.

Rules are the same as the other RP's, only one character, no god characters etc. Oh, and make sure you state if you're changing locations, and where you currently are.

I'll start. I'll put a profile up later.


Space Pirate Frigate

Halis sidestepped out of the way of a Wave trooper beam, retaliating with a blast of power beam which killed the trooper. He hoped that the trooper hadn't raised the alarm, as they needed this frigate taken down. His commanding officer beckoned him and the squad forward. He explained the plan

" We charted this frigate with our infiltration squad. We know that the power core is near the top of the ship, but that is also where it is mostly guarded. We need to create a diversion to get the majority of Pirates away. Stealth Troopers, you will infiltrate the furnace room. That's next to the power core room. I want you to signal to us when the coast is clear and we can blow this place up. Terminator squads"

Halis raised his head to look at the commander.

" You guys are most well equipped. You create the distraction and take down the pirates as they come. You should last out enough until we get the incinerator bomb onto the core. That should blow this place apart. The rest of you, with me. We wait until the distraction begins. Terminators, use your imagination. We'll meet in the hangar and use Space Pirate ships to take off, the hangar where our ships are is too far and the bomb will go off before we get there. Everybody clear?"

The commander signalled to his troopers, and led them down a small corridor to the right. The stealth squad leapt up in the air, smashing the vent open, and crawled up. That left him, and 7 other terminators. He took command, and led them up the main passage infront of them. He came to a map station, and came up with a plan. It was simple: break into the hangar, and set one of the ships off. They all have tracers on them, and an unauthorised flight would cause alarm, drawing the pirates to the hangar, where the terminators would jump out and kill as many as possible. It was flawless, or so he thought.

Unknown Planet

Folcon groaned as he sat down and leaned aganist the remains of a concrete building.

"I can't beleave this," a voice yelled. Folcon looked up and saw Zero, one of his COs, ranting once moe about the boutched attack on the Space Pirate's operation center in this area. "We had thirty troops, thirty! And now there's just the five of us."

"Zero, calm down," said X, Folcon's other CO on this mission. "We didn't know there was a trator at HQ that leaked the details of the assult."

"With all due repect Comanders," said a third voice, "would you please keep it down. I'm trying to rest." Folcon looked over and saw that the speaker was the only other human to survive the ambush, a fairly new recruit named Andy, who was also a com officer.

Folcon sighed and looked away as the three continued to bicker. He was about to drift off when he heard someone sit down next to him. "You realy need to get those wounds tended," said the person. Folcon looked up and saw it was Masson whom everyone called Sparky, because he generated electricity from his palms. He was, fortunatly, also the only surviving medic.

Folcon looked down and saw that he was still bleeding from a plasma blast the pearced his body armor in the shoulder. It was not as bad as before, but it still flowed fairly steady. "I guess you right Sparky," Folcon said, removeing the piece of armor from his shoulder and getting a first look at the extent of the damage. He wistled, it was pretty bad, but then, most plasma burns were, espeacly on humans. Sparky went stright to work, injecting Folcon with pain medication, and cleaning and binding the wound. Remarably, he had recieved no other injuries.

As the pain medication kicked in, Folcon became drowsy and began to drift off into sleep. Even so, he heard Andy anounce that he had gotten through to a Federation ship and they would be arriveing within the hour to pick them up. Folcon closed his eyes and was lost in dreams of the past.

Three years ago

Scince had just anouced a breakthrough in geen spliceing. Now humans could alter thier appearence with anamal charaterisics. Most went with cat or snake eyes, others went with other bizzar enhancments. Jameson had gone into a Splicer Parlor and walked out several hours latter with a beatiful set of eagle wings. It was shortly after that he changed his name to Folcon. He enjoyed his wings, they gave Folcon a degree of freedom he had never enjoied before.

It was not long though until people that had been spliced started using their newly acquired talents to commit crimes.

Two and a half years ago

Geen Spliceing was now oficaly illegal. Everyone that had recieved the treatment were now required to submit to a reversal procidure, or register as a GEL, Geniticly Enhanced Lifeform. Folcon refused to give up his wings and submitted to regestration. Unfortunatly, hatred toward GELs was building due to increased tention in the war against the Mavericks. Sigma was attacking yet again.

Two years ago

Sigma had once more been pushed back by the efforts of the Hunters. Folcon had witnessed one of the battles. He had seen how X and Zero fought to defend humans from the Mavericks, and Folcon knew what he wanted to do with his life. Even if he was hated by humans for how he changed himself, Folcon would still fight to protect his race. Not long after, he was attacked by a mob. Beaten and broken, he collapsed one the steps of Hunter HQ.

One and a half years ago

Folcon was now an offical member of the Hunters. He even had the honerd postion to be in Uint #17, X's unit, and one of the best. Folcon had earned a good name for himself and became friends with X and his best friend Zero, leader of Unit #0. Folcon felt a comradery with his fellow Hunters, most of witch were Reploids, but many were also humans, and there were even a few GELs scatered throughout the base. He also became much admired by the human hunters. Folcon knew he was safe as a Hunter.

One year ago

After six months, something unexpected happened. The Luner colony and the orbital colonies were attacked. But the attack did not come from the Mavericks, It came from a group designating themselves as Space Pirates. It wasn't long untill it was descovered that the Mavericks had united with the Space Pirates and after a massive assult, a ship landed and Sigma and most of his followers were seen boarding before it took off. Withen weeks, a fleet arrived and named theselves representatives of the Galatic Federation. They offered to bring Earth into the fold of the Federation and protect them from the Space Pirates. The surviving leaders of Earth jumped at the chance and Earth joined the Federation. The Hunters then became part of the GF Army and they worked together to bring down numerous Space Pirate facilites and Maverick Stongholds, for the Federation had realized the threat the Mavericks posed.

Six months ago

A lead had been found to a major Space Pirate facility where they were rumored to be constructing a massive army of Mavericks. The plan was laid out and two Hunter units were deamed enough to take the facility. Units #0 and #17 were sent.

Yesterday

The assult began, but right away Folcon could tell somthing was wrong. The forces guarding the facility were significantly larger then expected. The two fifteen member units were decimated, leaving only five solders alive. They were forced to retreat back into the ruined, nameless, city and try to contact a ship for evac. That was when they learned of the traitor at HQ that had been caught.

Folcon woke from his dreaming to the sensation of beinglifted into the air. Looking around, he saw he was on a stretcher that was being carried into the evac shuttle. Once the stretcher was set down, he carfuly sat up and straped himself in. There was of course, a battle going on over the planet.

Halis jumped around the corner, blasting the 2 drones before they could sound the alarm. He signalled to the rest of the group to follow. The place was eerily quiet, and Halis didn't quite know why. Those 2 drones and the wave trooper were the only pirates they had come across. But he had no time for this, he had to make it to the hangar. He reached another map station, and saw that the hangar was 3 floors below them. There was an elevator a few rooms away, but they saw that two of those rooms where the barracks, which is where all the pirates would have been all the time.

" Right, we have 2 options. 1, we go in and kill everything, but theres a good chance we could all die. 2, we take the long way around, which would take longer, but it's a lot safer. Personally, I would take option 3, which is to try and sneak through the barracks, and see if we make it through, maybe throw some explosives in there to lure the other guys out for easy bait. If we have any objections, please speak."

Silence.

" Lets go then."

Of course, Halis couldn't run through the doors and attempt to be stealthy.

" Hey, hey. Know what would be funny? If we put a mine in front of the door and made loads of noise, and then hid." The joker of the group, Kaljhab laughed.
" This is not the time, or place, Jhab" Malis told him, but he was smiling about it none the less. One of the troopers drew a small cutting laser, and cut through the wall, where according to the map, would be a corridor leading past the barracks, but there were windows in the corridor, so they would have to be quiet and duck down. Jhab was the first to go through the crawlspace.

" Holy shiznit, theres hundreds!" He whispered back through the hole.
" Then dont draw attention to yourself"

The 10 of them crawled through, and crept under the windows. Halis considered what they would do if they got caught. ' Gun em down' he thought. As he continued along the corridor, Malphars, the guy infront, dropped a pistol. It clanged loudly on the steel floor. Halis cringed. He heard pirates grunting in their foreign tongue. The team stopped dead in their tracks. Luckily, after about a minute of waiting, nobody came. They carried on. Jhab whispered along the line:
" Crap, there's a gap here. If we go past here, the pirates will see us."
Halis replied back " Our whole job was to eliminate the pirates, why wait? Plus, if we take out these ones now, there will be less to kill at the hangar. But we dont want to jump out, guns blazing. We want to keep as stealthy as possible, and psyche them out, as to not alert them to our presence. Here's the plan.."

After 10 minutes of a whispered breifing, everybody got into position. The 3 stealth terminators activated their devices, and walked past the gap. Jhab and Halis stayed were they were, 2 others went back to where they came in, and 3 others found some handy ammo boxes to hide behind. Now they had all corners of the barracks covered. When the stealth team emerged in the centre of the pirates, everybody would emerge from the corners, taking out the pirates surrounding the stealth team. What could go wrong?

Leaving orbit of an unknown planet

Folcon swore loudly as the ship shook again from heavy weapons fire, although not as loud as Zero.

"Will you hurry up and get us the hell out of here!" the crimson reploid yelled at the pilot.

"We're going as fast as this ship can go Commander," the pilot shouted back.

The ship shook violently once more, causing Folcon to swear, and Andy to grab a vomit bag.

"Just get us out of here!" Zero hollered, grabbing the bulkhead as the ship shook yet again.

"Frigate straight ahead," the copilot said. "Preparing to dock."

"Bout time," Zero growled, as the fight over the planet was left behind them.

"Will you calm down," X said.

"Calm down. Calm down!" Zero shouted. "How the hell can I calm down. We lost twenty-five good men down there, all because there was a traitor at headquarters."

"Well, we can't do anything until we report to HQ for a debriefing," X responded, causing Zero to snort in irritation.

The ship lurched slightly and the pilot said, "We have docked with the frigate, everyone out."

Zero growled and got up leaveing first, followed by X and Sparky. Folcon walked over to Andy and held out his hand. The slightly green faced human took it and Folcon pulled him to his feet. "Come on, lets get you to sick bay," Folcon said, helping Andy out of the ship.

Once of the deck, they walked across the landing bay and passed through the door, heading stright for sick bay. There, Folcon handed Andy over to the care of the medics and sullenly submitted to an examination himself. He left ten minutes latter with Andy alongside him, each with a bottle of pills in their hands. Folcon pocketed his and walked down the passageway to one of the debriefing rooms. Inside, X, Zero, and Sparky were already sitting at a table with one of the COs there as well.

Folcon nodded to the CO and sat down next to X, while Andy sat down on the ofther end, next to Sparky. The CO then began the debriefing, telling them about the traitor, how he had been captured and exicuted, and how sorry he was for the loos of most of thier units. Xand Zero then gave their reports and all were dissmissed.

Outside the debrieffing room, Sparky turned off in the direction of sickbay, while X, Zero, Folcon, and Andy went the other way. They soon came to an elevator and Andy boarded it, saying he was going to his quarters to rest, he was still a little green. That left X, Zero, and Folcon. Together, the entered the mess hall.
