1v1, capture the flag, no flag capturing, no vehicles, pistols only.
Basically, a great game.. if only I had a worthy opponent.

But that was before I got into CS. =)
I forgot the trial existed until Split reminded me and I reinstalled.

@Lemon: Halo Trial is a demo of Halo with the first mission and Blood Gulch.

And remember, you challenged me.
The CS excuse you just made wasn't thought of until I mentioned it.

Most people who say Halo sucks (there are a lot of you here) probably haven't played it for more than 10 minutes. Those people should get the Halo Trial and play it, it's not like it's a long download.

(1). So do I. But I got Vista now, so Halo 2 for PC puts Halo 1 to shame.
(2). What did you expect on a board full of Nintendo fanboys/ fangirls?
(3). I know someone who's computer sucks so much, it took them 3 days to download the trial.

* Microsoft® Windows® 98SE/Me/XP/2000
* PC with 733 MHz equivalent or higher processor
* 128 MB of system RAM
* 1.2 GB available hard disk space
* 8x speed or faster CD-ROM drive
* 32 MB T&L capable video card required
* Sound card, speakers or headphones required for audio
* Microsoft Mouse or compatible pointing device
* 56.6 Kbps or better modem or LAN for online play; broadband to run a server
Other than taking up 131 MB instead of 1.2 GB, I can't imagine the trial would be much different. Page where I got that is here:
http://www.microsoft...es/pc/halo.aspx
You can also download the trial there. It's worth noting that the trial really isn't a "trial", you can play as long as you want.

If you wish to play by those rules, I'll be glad to get raped.

I've got a hacking tool that could do stuff like that, but I'm an uber noob when it comes to using it.

Unless you're talking Xbox, which doesn't have mice and a keyboard and is therefore inferior.

And I'm just not that into Halo right now. Everybody is pshyched over Halo 3. I don't really care about it. It's just another game to me. Smash Bros Brawl is the next thing I'm looking forward too.

There is, as Nick calls it, a "shot lag" in Halo PC. Yout shots get fired late so you kind of have to aim early. So it probably isn't you, it's just Halo PC and it's suckiness.
If you work at it, you get used to it.

I would, cause my computer can own PDM's computer in a half second, but I don't have Source.
