If I had to guess, I'd say you're working out too much, and that's your body's way of saying "I'm tired".

Agreed.
I did too much running at one stage, I was doing Indoor and Outdoor Soccer with Soccer training all in one week, and I noticed that I had varying degrees of shin splints during that time.
Perhaps this is just a buildup of longterm exertion?

Maybe longterm exertion is causing your body to tell you, in the form of aching, that it wants a break. Or, alternatively, you can keep your schedule but instead eat more protein and get more sleep to compensate. If you keep aching, asking a doctor is better than asking random people on the internet.

Edit: and this was my high school I'm talking about. Although, co-ed showers would be nice if most of the girls in the class at that time were not fat.
