How can I forget that beautiful ass in my own signature? Plus, that signature made me famous on Maple Story forums a long time ago, but for some reason the moderation team removed it six month later saying that it was inapropriate. Doing that when half of the community kept sending me PMs and going off-topic to say "Dude, your signature OWNS!" is pretty ****ing stupid. I was going to start some drama about it, but I barely ever visit those forums anyway so it made no impact on me.

Oh by the way does anyone remember my original crime? This topic title is a homage to my first ownage on GSSF, where I had an avatar and signature which said 'Gamecube Sucks'. The avatar was animated and had a stickman pissing on a Gamecube, where as the signature had a guy from some game saying "I Piss On Thy Gamecube". Many members demanded I removed it (being the fanboys they are) and moderators did so because it was apparently 'offending' the fanboys. Being who I am, I told them to suck some cox and continued to put the signature on my profile every time the moderators removed it. I eventually got bored of the set anyway, and changed it on my own accord.

Naturally some games were good, there isn't really one format out there which didn't have at least one good title. However Mario Sunshine sucked ass when comparing it to the standard of Mario games. As a matter of fact, Mario Sunshine may have done well but it has done the worst out of most Mario games last time I checked. I personally didn't get into Wind Waker but it was probably a good game at the very least, yet I'm surprised you didn't mention games like Metroid Prime, Super Monkey Ball and Tales of Symphonia which get quite some praise from the fanboys.

I got back from Turkey a couple of weeks ago actually. To be honest knowing that GSSF is dead, and the simple fact that you people play nothing but Nintendo products it's hard to have a serious discussion on here anymore. I already visit various other gaming forums which ensure I always get a healthy dose of gaming discussions and debates, but GSS is no longer on my bookmarks so I usually forget to even visit sometimes.

I wouldn't have even returned if it wasn't for one of you idiots leaving a comment on my profile yesterday which inevitably made the forum send an alert to my Gmail inbox and helped me remember about the lost GSSF once again.

When I say serious discussions I mean gaming, not politics or religion. The problem with you guys is simple, it's easy talking about Nintendo because it interests you and you probably own a GBA/DS/WII. However when it comes to discuss gaming in general, as in the industry or another console; most of you have no idea what you're talking about in debates.

The fact of the matter is I can say the Gamecube sucked because I took the time to give it a real chance before making that statement. I can say the PS2 was amazing because even though it wasn't as powerful as the Xbox in terms of specs, it had the most insane line-up of games that it's competitors couldn't compete with even if they merged. It's hard to honestly talk about a console and be accurate unless you own the console yourself, or you've done enough research / gameplay to understand certain factors.

Xbox sold more than Gamecube at the end of the last console wars. Barely anyone gives a **** about Fire Emblem games except for the Japanese, it's not a mass-market franchise so it's pathetic to even assume I'm going to care about it. Resident Evil 4, Soul Calibur, Prince of Persia and Viewtiful Joe aren't even Gamecube exclusives so now I know for sure that you have no idea what you're talking about. The Xbox's game selection was far more appealing to western gamers as it focussed mainly on shooters and racing titles. Halo, Forza Motorsport, Project Gotham Racing, Fable, KOTOR, Jade Empire, Crimson Skies etc.

Yes the Gamecube sucked. The only games that really rocked where Super Smash Bros. Melee and Fire Emblem Path of Ridiance perhaps Wind Waker aswell since I still think that it was a very enjoyable game with a lot of atmosphere.

Many people on GSSF will disagree with you about Fire Emblem, and I'm pretty sure you know most of us aren't Japanese. No cause the Wii so far is pretty good, I would say that it was going the best of all 3 consoles right now but after Halo 3 we all know that isn't true. ;) The GameCube honestly sucked... 4 Mario Parties, too many Mario sports, almost no 3rd party support and first party franchises going S.H.I.T (super happy inovation titles) like Mario Sunshine, Wind Waker and Donkey Konga / Jungle Beat (the latter games being horrible I tell ya).

The same reason they keep making games like Armoured Core when the franchise is barely recognised in the west - it sells in Japan. Fire Emblem makes good money in Japan, and there's a small following in the west similar to that of the Armoured Core franchise. Are you kidding, I know people in some of my classes who know a lot about FE. They could identify most of the characters on sight. But show them a pic of what should be a common known FF character, and it seems like on one will no who it is. I thought Cloud would be easy for most people to know who he is. but only about one in fifteen seem to have even heard of him, or FF.

FE sells well in the West also Nemp. It's known among many Ninty fans which what matters since it's only found on Nintendo systems.

However I hang out at many multi-platform gaming forums and nobody ever even bothers to bring up Fire Emblem. I'm not a Nintendo fan (or a fan of anything really) but I've owned all the Nintendo formats since the SNES and Fire Emblem has little impact on my gaming.

I think Fire Emblem has simply been overblown at GSSF because most of you know about the series and I know some of you found out about it from the GSSF community, so even though it may seem all big and mighty on these boards out there to the general public it's not so well-known, or at least in Europe it isn't as I can't speak for Yank-land.

The only good thing about the Xbox was the massive amount of Mod's that could be done. You could install games onto a hardrive, hook it up to a computer or external hardrive and play TV shows and Music from it, and the top notch emulators for it. Gamewise, it sucked hard.

Quick revival, the user who claimed that the PS2 lost the previous console war needs to wake up and smell the console sales. Even after all this time, Sony is currently releasing another even slimmer PS2 when pretty much everyone, their dog, and their dog's puppies have a damn PS2. I personally thought the Xbox was more fun just because Xbox Live was the most amazing thing that happened to my console gaming life in years, but the PS2 had the biggest selection of high quality games and they were even crazy enough to slap together a really lame online service just so Microsoft wouldn't get all the moonies.
