I doubt that anyone has ever heard of this band, but they are really good. Some people hate em, some people love em. If you want to listen to them, I particularly like "3's and 7's", "Go with the Flow", and Little Sister." Keep in mind that they change their band lineup every year, except for the lead singer.

They're really good if you like weird types of rock. I don't think I could really classify them in a genre though.

Psychadelic rock? They're slightly like Jimi Hendrix with the guitar riffs and stuff. Cant say I like them thouhg.

I think they had a concert somewhere around Vancouver during the summer or something. I don't know.

QOTSA! SWEET! Yeah, I think I've already established myself as a fan. Gawd, I love QOTSA. Josh Homme is my hero... and the three songs you listed are easily the most mainstream QOTSA songs ever... XD. Still great though. Regular John ftw.
EDIT: OMG necro... I'm so sorry... I didn't notice the date on this topic... sorry.

Make It Wit Chu is another great track, and Josh Homme really makes it work. It's laid back and very cool. Also a fan of 3's and 7's. These are guys are very original.

Yeah, but some of the non-mainstream stuff is pretty good too. I'm pretty sure that First It Giveth wasn't very mainstream. What I don't understand is why they change their ban line-up almost every year. The only person to be in the band for the whole time is Josh Homme, the lead singer.

Yeah okay, now I've heard of them.
3's and 7's and Sick Sick Sick I like so far. Looking at more.

Well, that's how they manage to keep their music fresh all the time. It definitely sounds different and has a wide variety within the genre because there are so many contributors working on the music. It's why their albums end up sounding nothing like each other, but Josh Homme's presence is enough to make it known that this is Queens of the Stone Age.
