After Life Where do you go?

My view is that after one dies, they should have a proper burial. When the time comes, there will be a Judgement Day where the world will collapse and everyone will be resurrected . Everyone will then be brought up before God and will receive their verdict based upon how they lived their life on the Earth. Everyone will be sent to Heaven or Hell based on their actions. I do not believe in reincarnation.
These are just my views, and I do not care if you think they sound ridiculous. NO FLAMING, ANGERING, OR PUTTING DOWN OTHER PEOPLE"S BELIEFS.

What? Did you expect something philosophical from me? No.

Funny I was going to make this topic!(so we must be peas) Scientififcally we rot, but deep down I hope something interesting happens even though I don't know what it is.

The body, mind and spirit.
When we die, like previous posters said we rot. That's why I have already told my close ones that I want my body to be either cremated or donated to science. I surely do not want any fancy funeral. It's a waste of money imo.
Anyway, the mind ceases to exist when the body dies, but the spirit is transformed. I have still haven't made up on my mind on what really happens to the spirit... Muslim, Christian and Buddhist teachings all have reasonable answers.

I don't spend a lot of time thinking about death. Why would I? I'm too busy being alive. I'm young, my life isn't being threatened (as far as I know) so thinking about such things seems pointless. I'll think about death when someone is holding a gun to my face point-blank.
And you all should know I'm not particularly spiritual. I don't think about these things.

I'd like to hang around as a ghost for a while, just to see what people think of me, haunt the people who I didn't like, and visit places I never got the chance to as a human. Maybe the inside of a volcano, under the sea, the ice caps. Extreme places that aren't possible for humans. I wouldn't leave earth though. Maybe a year or two as a ghost, then pass on completely.

Why would I want to exist for eternity anyway? Either physically or spiritually? As Aqua says, one lifetime is enough for me.

So, I don't know how to describe it, that was probably confusing. All I'm saying is that, "technically", I believe in the concept of heaven/hell and all that, but what exactly that entails or actually is, I'm not sure.

Half of me believes that when you die, you go to another world, that looks exaclty like ours, but whatever you think, it can happen. If you want 10 Big Macs, 10 Big Macs appear. If you want Jessica Alba, she appears.
The other half of me, jsut believes you are dead, once you die, you jsut cease to exist.
I hope though, that it is the first half.

However another part of me wants to believe that there's more and coupled with the feelings of "deja-vu" we sometimes get I have to believe in some small part in reincarnation.
As me111 said above its the only question that we will never, ever know the answer to.

I'm exactly the opposite :o
I live my life cautiously, though obviously I mess up some times, because I'm concentrated on the reward in heaven after life. I don't believe that good deeds send you to heaven, only Jesus does. But I do believe that if you plan to go there, it's only courteous to give back as much of your life as possible as a way to thank Him for saving you.
But that's just my opinion :D And I'll see you there, Blue!

I believe that She and her mom had a moment, even though the daughter died. Where else could the daughter be but in heaven? Though I have always lived cautiously, i will never forget that my friend is up in heaven watchin over me.
