I agree with Systematic Chaos. Not what it was hyped to be.

Life in Cartoon Motion by Mika is probably my favourite album of 2007. It's very hard for me to like artists like Mika, but for some reason I think his music is excellent. He's an excellent singer and performer, and I recommend everyone to atleast check out his album =)

Other than Mika's, Minutes to Midnight by Linkin Park and Timbaland's Shock Value were both awesome =)

I was disappointed by Minutes to Midnight. But I absolutely LOVED In Between.

Timbaland's Shock Value IS great, great choice eugine. I also really liked the new sum 41 album, although wasnt as good as the others, due to the lead guitarist leaving.

Cant Forget about Three Days Grace man. Or 30 Seconds to Mars.

Surely someone will mention Neon Bible by the Arcade Fire? Great stuff, better than their first album - "Intervention" and "Keep The Car Running" are some of the best tracks of the year.

I know it's predictable, but I'm still gonna say it. I really loved the CD Roots, Rock, Remixed which are all remixes of Bob Marley's not too well known songs. It's a bit of a mix between techno, dub, ska and reggae and it goes suprisingly well! Really pleasant to listen to.

Duanne Stephenson's 'From August Town' is another one that comes into mind, as does 'Graduation' of Kanye West even though I don't like to admit that last one. Last year's best which I missed out was Talib Kweli's Ear Drum in my opinion.

OHHH! And 'The Perfect Melody' from Zion is also a great album. It's a nice mix between Reggaeton and R&B which I really enjoyed couple of months ago before summer. I don't know for sure if it's from 2007, but it's still worth the mentoin. ;)

Handbuilt by Robots: Newton Faulkner is one of my biggest suprises of this year. It is stunning, love the music, well written and ten times better than I initially imagined it to be. Very good album, one of the best this year.

Minutes to mIdnight was good. I also liked Era Vulgaris by Queens of the Stone Age. Black Holes and Revelations was good too.

I agree. I was disapointed at first, but I slowly grew fond of the songs. Valentines Day, Bleed It Out, Given Up, and Leave Out All The Rest are my favorites. And I'm happy to say that I now own every song LP has released =D

It's a good album, but I feel like Linkin Park lost some of its "Linkin Park-ness" with the album - every song except Bleed It Out seemed to move in the general alternative direction. Not bad, by any means, but just not nearly as distinct as before.

Same lightningstar. I was really dissapointed when What I've Done was released. It was such a dramatic change from the Linkin Park I knew, and hated LP for change. I guess I had the same feelings when I heard the album. Eventually I appreciated the album more and more, and now I think it's excellent.

Black Rain by Ozzy Osbourne is pretty goodm, worth buying if you like sabbath.

I used to love linkin Park. I hated Linkin Park for a while because I got tired of their whiny songs. But then I started to like them again when the released MtM cause it was different.

Light Grenades by Incubus was a great album, particularly Anna-Molly.

The thing with the Shock Value album is that almost every song is awesome for the first 1 and a half minutes, after that, it gets a bit boring.

The Foo Fighters album was quite good too.

Minutes to mIdnight was good. I also liked Era Vulgaris by Queens of the Stone Age. Black Holes and Revelations was good too.

BH&R was 2006... heh... But yeah, Era Vulgaris was up there. Didn't really like MtM... Echoes, Silence, Patience, and Grace by the Foo Fighters was god-awesome though, heh.
