Hardest Side Quest Boss.

Lapis from Legend Of Legaia was definetly the hardest for me. The final boss could be beaten at about level 40, but Lapis shouldn't even be considered untill atleast level 75, and even then it will be a fight to remember. I couldn't beat him untill all three of my characters were over level 80.

The weapons, in the FF series are alwasy intense. I think Emerald weapon had like somewhere around 1 million HP in FF7.
Omega in FF8 was preatty hard when I first tried to beat him.

Although I guess he could be counted as hard as it takes so friggin' long to get to him and the the battles just get harder the closer you get. The 99th floor is harder then him.
And I was bloody level 37. That's friggin hard to do. He gave me 10 star points. What a ****.

It could be just the way I play, but I never had to level grind to beat any boss, including Dullahan. Usually just travelling the land to get to the next story-proggressing area would give me enough exp.

he was bloody hard, hence him being on my list, as a geberal rule i dont use the cheaty solution to beat bosses (Holy War trick on Omega Weapon and throwing Phoenix Downs at undead bosses as it just removes the chsllenge)
I will track down and kill everyone who used Zanmato to kill some of the Dark Aeons in Final Fantasy X

Yeah, I think I was about at that level when I tried to beat him. I still haven't beaten him yet, but I still haven't gotten past level 37ish. Haven't played in a while too.
I beat Dullahan without useing anything but regualr attacks, but I cheated. GS transfer code generator FTW. Might try and beat him the fair way someday. Maybe.
The serpent guy from FFIII was a pain in the arse. He's an awesome summon though.
Once I beat Contact, I'll have another to add to my very short list.
But may I ask what a Holy War is in FF?

Ah yes, and another one that you're going to be like "WTF, you played that game?!"at, is Forte in Megaman Battle Network 4 where you have to get every single chip in your library filled in before you can even battle him. But I will do it someday!
Together, Kate, we'll be dreamers! :P

Aha! Someone else who played this game. The brown cow is hard as anything. I don't think it's possible to beat him without cheating. The other elemental gods aren't as tough, but they're still crazy difficult.
The level 50 bosses in Lunar Knights are kinda hard after the first two...I don't want to know what level 100 is like.
I cheated and summon rushed the hell out of Dullahan. Deadbeard was hard, though. Still have no idea how I beat him my first time around...

One of the crazy hacked creatures in .Hack Infection. You have to fight him just with Kite, and when I first fought him, my Kite had almost no healing spells. He ****ed my **** up.

I've barely gotten far in Contact at all, mostly because I've been playing SMG and Brain Age 2 (occasionally). But I've either beaten, or am in the process of beating the rock guy in the first real dungeon. It's the second reactor core thingy. I'm going to start playing it again though. It's a great game, and I'm very glad I bought it.
Deadbeard was hard. Period. And after all that, you only get the demon mail, which sucks because it drops your Jupiter resistance.

Sentinal and Valukar. :(
Sentinal was a pain for me. Valukar was pretty hard, and Star Magician took forever for me too. And high thirties is WAY under level for Dullahan (unless you *coughcheatedcough*), so no wonder it was hard.

But Deadbeard was like what Laharl said. All you get for beating him is the Demon Mail.
