So this isn't a topic on which system is better, because we all know how those turn out, this is just wondering which system(s) of the next gen do you own. I made it multiple choice seeing as some of you may own 2 or all 3 of the next/current gen systems.

I myself own a PS3 and a WII. No need to by a 360 now. Halo 3, and Crysis on my computer, and will get Bioshock if it comes out(is it already out on computer?).

They're not really next gen, aren't they current gen now? Well, I own a Wii and it's extremely fun. I feel no need to get any other systems, seeing as there are only a few games that I would like to buy, and I could just play them at my friends' houses.

Most likely I'll get a Wii for Brawl, but for some reason gaming doesn't interest me much anymore. I doubt I'll get it.
My sister was going to get a Wii for me this Christmas, but I asked for the money. I want a laptop for college and beyond.

And yea x3. They're current gen now, but the PS2 just wouldn't die, so everyone says 'next-gen'.

i aint willing to spend hundreds of £ on a console that has like three games i'd actually play on, and considering the PS2, PSP and DS has a stronger selection of games i'm fine as is

to me the next/current/whatever gen consoles have been rushed, and the companies involved care even less about the quality of games and just want to make some extra money

Wii for me. I just got it at christmas, so my other family members just gave me money to buy games for it. But honestly, Wii sports is can be seriously addictive, and wii boxing is an awesome work out.

None because my mind keeps changing between 360 and Wii. I've decided to wait and see which game releases get me interested. At the minute I'd probably be happier with Wii games, yet I'd prefer a 360 overall.

And the whole family has a Wii, but we only use it when friends are around.

I'm exactly the same as Skidzor. I own a PS3 and a Wii, don't need a 360 because my PC is more powerful (in terms of RAM at least) and most 360 games are ported to or are already on the PC. The 360 is all FPS anyway and the PC has more variety.

It's annoying how the kids at school don't understand that. They're all 360 fanboys. :P

Ya. Most of the games I want anyway on the 360 are on the computer, so I just buy them for that, and the PS3 has a more RPG/action selection. And then the WII has those fun Nintendo games liek Brawl, and SMG.

I have Wii that's been in my posession since January '07. I love it. I refuse to buy a PS3, since I hate 99% of its games, and the only time I'll buy the 360 is if I have enough money that I have nothing to do with.

A lot of the games I've seen for 360 and PS3 are war-type games. Now I'm sure I'm wrong, but none of them really catch my interest. If they came out something that was more adventure-ish, like some of the final fantasy or Zelda games (which, by the way, I've never played either, so again, i could be wrong) then it might catch my eye.

Unfortunately for the wii, there aren't many games like that.

The fact still stands that a lot of it is FPS. This isn't a bad thing necessarily, but the variety isn't enough to justify a purchase from me with my gaming style.

PSWII for life. The amazing RPG/Action/Fantasy/Shooters of the PS3 and the really fun party games of the WII. The 360 is shooters with a tiny bit of each of those genres.

But a lot of the shooters on 360 are so different. Yes, they all involve guns, but you cant compare Rainbow 6 Vegas to Halo, because they all have their quirks.

I've got a Wii, games include Super Monkey Ball, Dragonball Z Tenkiachi 2, and Nintendo's Holy Trinity (Zelda, Metroid, Mario). I wouldn't mind getting either a 360 or PS3 sometime in the future, though granted I only even play video games when I'm on vacation from college.

And the PC has both those, last I checked except Halo 3 which will come eventually though I probs won't buy it. If my PC sucked and I didn't like PC FPS controls I'd have a 360. But neither is true. :P

I'm not saying the PC doesnt have them, but you said they were all the same.

And the reason i'm not using my PC is because I dont like it's controls, and I dont want to spend hundreds of pounds on good equipment for it. I'd rather sacrifice quality for quantity. Plus there's no easy way to play multiplayer when your mates are round with a PC, unless you have a game pad.

The Orange Box is five games for the price of one, and it's awesome so I'd suggest that one. Call of Duty 4 seems quite cool, so that one next I gueus. :P

COD4 is really good, except the campain mode is fairly short. Still a great game though. Online is awsome.

COD4's campaign is fun but not the greatest. Firefights can be pretty frantic. If this is what war is really like, consider me a future draft dodger. There isn't much replay to it though. If I were you I'd get Mass Effect, which I haven't played but everybody seems to like it.

And when compared to other games, it's a crapload of GREAT content for a GREAT price.

I've got a Wii (yeyz), but I want a 360 and a PS2. I say PS2 and not PS3 because pretty much all the games that I want are either on the 360, the PS2, or the Wii. Save for FFXIII (I'm just curious, I've only played one FF game before, so why not.) and Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction. I've only gotten to play it as a demo, but it's awesome. Even if it is pretty straight foreward.

So yeah, got a Wii, might get a PS2 next if I'm lucky. I can only dream of a 360 atm, but since most of the good 360 games are already ported to the PC, or will be soon, I just have to scrape some cash together to build a PC.

I personally am sticking with my good old PS2, until I have enough money to get a next-gen. I don't even know what I'd get for next-gen... either a 360 or a PS3 or a Wii... wow, nice narrowage... yeah, I really can't decide. I'll probably end up going for a 360 or a PS3. Most Wii games are the type you play with friends anyways, and some of my friends own the Wii, so I guess I'm fine.

It's not better, but there are some features on it better than the 360;

Built in wireless
Not actually that expensive ( £50 more than the elite)
Bigger games ( with blu ray disks)

There's more, but I cant think of any atm. Everybody has made it out to be a bad console, but it's really not. Far from it, but the games line up atm is...poor.

Being new doesn't mean anything, he was right. Some people are going to think the the PS3 is superior to 360, and you cant call them wrong because thats what they think. You might think differently, but many people will think the same.

Either way, I still prefer 360.

Well I'm in a much better mood and won't be 360 bashing tonight, I just perfer the PS3. Yes the exclusive line up ATM is a little weak, but it looks promising for the future.

If you don't consider the PC, the 360 has more decent exclusive titles than the PS3 in my opinon. The PS3 only has Ratchet and Clank Future, and maybe a handful of others. Halo 3 is a good game. It's not THE best EVER, but it's better than most of you give it credit for. Though, it's mostly because of Forge in my opinion. GoW is pretty good too (lolsh00terz), and the 360 also has Forza 2 Motorsports. And the 360 didn't rip off Nintendo and replace the rumble feature with crappy motion senseing. -_-

And also there's no way 360 ripped off Wii because the 360 came out 2 years later. Gears is also on PC now, but it's slightly different to the original. Halo 3 is an amazing game though, whether you like it or not. When you think about it, 360 doesn't actually have many original titles, because most of them have been ported to PS3 ( COD4, Orange Box).

Still, i'm probably being biased because I love my 360 to death, but it is the best console out there for your money right now.
