The ONLY difference between a G2 and a G liscence is that with the G2 I can't ahve a DROP of alcohal in my system, and with the G I can have up to 0.08% in my body. Not like I'll drive while drinking anyway.

Probably get it candy painted red. It's the kind of sparkly paint job.
Definetly getting the windows tinted black, for um, "things".
Getting a sub, because I will be BLAREING rap and metal in that car.

I'm more relaxed while driving on pot, and actualy pay more attention to the road.
But most of my driving will be at like 10 PM- 4AM, so really.
Google the Lancer Evo X, it is so awsome.

I won't kill any people. Don't worry. Maybe non-innocent people, but that's besides the point.

And even if I gave you the benefit of the doubt, why exactly will a driving instructor give a 'stoned' person their G2?

Visine dude. It's so easy to hide "stonedness".
@Split-Well let's not get into another drug argument, but I am on weed often, but I don't consider that a drug anymore, I consider it a normal daily thing, like cigarettes, or skateboarding.
I won't drive of E or anything, jsut pot.

I have had times where I haven't smoekd for weeks and not felt ANY bad feelings, or withdrawls, or detox, and then there are times where I smoke for days on end, and still feel no bad feelings. Addiction, no.
But to stay on topic, who here has a car, and what is it?

An automobile (via French from Greek auto, self and Latin mobilis moving, a vehicle that moves itself rather than being moved by another vehicle or animal) or motor car (usually shortened to just car) is a wheeled passenger vehicle that carries its own motor. Most definitions of the term specify that automobiles are designed to run primarily on roads, to have seating for one to eight people, to typically have four wheels, and to be constructed principally for the transport of people rather than goods.

30K IS expensive for a first car. My dad's willing to pay 5k for a car, and we get about $80k USD a year (above average income).
My first car will likely be a Honda CRX for about $500, but the rest of the money will go into new rims, possible performance upgrade (cold air intake or a HOPEFULLY a trubo), or if I'm lucky, a better engine. My sister got an old Mazda for $4500
But seirously, why buy a brand new car for a relatively new driver? The car is likely to get dings and dents, escpecially if they park in a highschool parking lot (ours is HORRIBLE) during school hours.
But regardless, congrats on getting the liscence.

Basically, they gave it to me and said, "that's it". So if I eff it up, I have to deal with it. If my engine burns out, I have to deal with it. So if it lasts 2 years, it's my fault, but if it lasts 20, then gopod for it.
CRX's are nice cars btw. Good luck with that.

That's the way things work with stuff that you own yourself. That's why we love insurance.

Meh, they said they would buy it for me as a birthday present and for passing my G2, so in no way was I complaining. If ANYBODY you know was going to get you something worth 30 grand, would you complain, or ask for something else?

But then, it depends on how you were grown up...

But still, they spoil their grandkids liek any other grandparent, but they are really rich, so they tend to go overboard.

Personally, I wouldn't turn down $30k, but I would ask for the cash instead. I'd buy a cheaper, but still nice car (Like my family's $7k '97/'98 BMW 325i.s., which is in GREAT condition. ;) That was an incredible find.), tune it, and use the rest of the money for say.....a home theater system for my bedroom? With that kind of cash, you could probably do even more.
