Due to a few issues in getting the board to allow members to download the file, Golden Legacy has asked me to post the awards.

So friends, I am honored to present to you the GSSF Awards 2008, with much credit to GL for slaving over the fearsome task of counting up the votes. Congratulations to all, and we look forward to another great year for these forums! :D

GSSF AWARDS 2008 – Results

Sorry for the long wait, but the votes have been counted and the winners determined! I’ve been slaving over this word document for many days, organizing and condensing the votes together. I’m using a color-coded system as seen below to indicate the winners – it might look a bit overwhelming, but it’ll be easy to figure out. The number that appears after a member’s name is the number of times that member was voted for that award, and any name appearing without a number means they received a single vote for that category. If you’ve changed your username, please be sure to check, as I wasn’t necessarily consistent throughout. Also, ALL the votes are included too, so these are essentially the most complete results possible. For your amusement, I’ve also put done some quotes (in italics) that people said while they were voting, some good-hearted amusing stuff.

Thank you all for being so patient. On a final note, if there’s anything that I took from putting together these votes, it’s the reaffirmation that this is indeed one of the closest communities to be found. Whether veterans or new members, I want to thank each and every one of you personally for continuing to make GSSF a thriving and heartfelt community for all. Here’s to another successful year.

Those percents are a bit off, but that basically what I do during school.
-Ask random questions or bring up bizarre topics and ideas
-Learn
-Be sad or angry towards another individual at the school and ranting about them
-Be serious

Lol. Meh, It was pretty obivious who was going to win particular mod awards.

Lazy, but ready was kind of made for SoT.

GL beating Max in most respected kind of surprised me though. Guess Max isn't that well known by the newer crowd.

Edit: Staff was a tie between Max and GL, Public was a win by GL.
