    Okayokayokay. I like to call this a mini topic, because it'll probably be answered in a page. I could put it in debates, but it is like the lamest debate ever, so I put it here.

    Which is the saying:

    Good news is coming down the pipe

    or

    Good news is coming down the pike

    My mom and I had a huge arguement about this, I think it's pipe, she thinks it's pike.

              Alright, seems like I'm outnumbered x3.

              Both are correct depending on the context, but I'm certain pike is the original saying.

                Apparently pike refers to something at the world fair...I dunno, my mom's old, so she usually knows these things XD But pipe just makes more sense to me...maybe eug is just an old lady in disguise ^_^

                    I think it's "Pike" because the vultures rhymed it with "like" in the Jungle Book. Yes, that is what my stream of consciousness looks like...

                                        I've never heard the saying, though indeed, pipe seems to fit better in today's vocabulary.

                                        Though it would make sense that the 30+ would say Pike, as it was a more common word in their time.
