New RPG from Camelot, "Silver Moon"

In an interview with Hiroyuki and Shugo Takahashi, heads of Camelot, work on a new RPG has been confirmed! Truly fantastic news for our community as the franchise is finally seeing a new game.

Tentatively called "SILVER MOON", this new entry in the series will be analogous to Golden Sun. Apparently, the plot will be about the "other, unseen side" of Weyard, according to Takahashi.

"We've always enjoyed showing players different sides of the world they know", said Hiroyuki. "In Golden Sun: The Lost Age [sequel to the original], we had players take control of the antagonists and see the plot from their perspective. Now, players will get to do just that! Golden Sun, Silver Moon, they're opposites. Expect some creative, new twists on the gameplay as two vying worlds experience a cataclysmic battle!"

Silver Moon is expected to debut sometime in 2009. Details are scarce, but the DS title is expected to use the full touch-screen and 3D capabilities of the system.

On a final note, Hiroyuki mentioned: "Don't expect "Silver Moon" to be the last either! We're also working on other projects in the franchise. Expect "BRONZE MARS" to be released afterwards! . . . . . . . and yes folks, this IS an April Fool's Joke.

Sorry, but that was my first reaction. It's great to see this forum's dedication finaly paid off. I can't wait to see this "other side" of Weyard.

Okay, breathe in, breathe out. Now, a little curiosity. I got excited for a second, but thought it was strange that GL ("Mr I Love News Stories") would mysteriously forget a news article link on the biggest story to ever hit GSSF.

Nice try GL, gotta think of a better name for it next time. I was going to do a site April Fools joke, but I caught some stomach bug yesterday and wasn't feeling well enough to get it done on time. There's always next year.

I'll admit he had me fooled. I was excited when I posted and didn't stop and think. But now that I think about it, the the lack of a link, the time, the date, Bronze Mars, it all seems so obvious.

I might've believed it for a few seconds if I hadn't read IGN's interview recently. If they's had a name or a date of anything so explosively huge as to be remotely conclusive, it would've been mentioned there. Also I think they'd be creative enough not to name it "Silver Moon." "Golden Sun 3" would be more creative than that IMO. :P

I never believe anything I read on april fools. I think the Blizzard AFJ was better, but this was pretty good too.

Hahahah "silver moon" I just got that. Okay anywho, I believe this too, but it was like 4 am so I was thinking straight. And gl you totally should've put in a link to 'never gonna give you up' and claimed it was some news thing :P
