22 days for me. We're out on June 11th.

I'm applying for a job at our local water park and our local Gamestop, so hopefully I'll get a job for the summer. I have friends who are working at th water park, and I'm almost old enough to work at the concessions stand (yay shade :D), so it'd be the ideal job for me. Especially since they're improving like crazy. They even have a surfing thingy. It's awesome.

I've seen Moses Lake on Google Earth. Everything looked dry and dead, so I'm guessing it gets hot up there. It's probably not that much different than here in California.

It hit 92 a few days ago. That's the hottest it's ever gotten in May in the past 9 years of living here. Plus, I'm in a desert, so we're bound to have hot weather. Still, usually it stays between 70 and 83 Farenheit during May. We haven't even had rain more than twice this month, which even for being a desert, is pretty strange. Usually it rains a lot here in May.

We get all the way up to 100 degrees in the summer.

I just had an English Lit exam and my mind is insisting on taking any tiny mistakes I made and focusing all my thoughts on them.

My school officially ended this morning. This is the end of my education in high school... God, the past 4 years of my life were great, especially the latter 2, which were the best in my entire life. I may be happy that summer holiday is starting, but I know I'll be sad that school has finished... I owe so much to the people I've met during these four years. Friends that I wouldn't swap for anything in the world, and that I know I'll be hanging out with for years to come. Just remembering all teh good and bad memories from school is so...

Damn, I'm already sad.

12 more hours and I'm officially out of school :D

I have my Chem and Spanish 2 finals tomorrow, both of which are said to be b!tches when it comes to being hard. I remember Spanish 2 being hard last semester, and I'm afraid that my final in Chemistry will pull my grade down to a C+ (for my scholarship, I can't have any C's on my transcript).

BUT! 12 more hours before I can rid myself of annoying acquaintances for two months >D (well, that is until I take a 3 week summer school course of PE just to get the credits out of the way). Not only that, but 12 more hours until I'm a SENIOR ^^!

I remember when I lived in Florida. The summers there were HOT. I don't ever remember the temperature being even slightly cold. 73 was probably the coldest temperature I can remember while living there.

I have seen it hit 29 in the panhandle believe it or not


back on topic. I have this week which is exam week then us seniors don't have to go to school the next week but everyone else does and we graduate at the end of that week.
so basically i get out may 30 and graduate june 6

Well, that's certainly lucky for you. Our school doesn't have a skipping finals policy, we take them regardless of grade, AP tests, standards passing, etc. :( Admittedly, I'm astonished by the fact that people actually get off for those things.

By any chance, do you live in VA? Other states have other names for standardized testing, just wondering.

Finally over for me, thank god. Took a Physics final, the only thing keeping me happy is that there's going to be a huge curve.

Also managed, somehow, an A in Chemistry. Very low A. 93.59, only is an A when one rounds up. Isn't it grand? (I hate my county's grading scale.)
