Yes folks, it's finally here after two years of development! Firefox 3.0 is available now, and with it comes an attempt to enter the Guinness World Record books for the most downloads in a single day.

No need to mention that this is a fantastic new version of an already great browser, been using it myself past hour and it's smooth performing and more streamlined than ever.

Don't see any major improvements over FF2 tbh except for the user interface change lolz.
Ah well, I got it anyway lol.

Maybe I should look up what's new xP.

        Downloading it right now

Edit: And finished. Seems pretty nice, though I agree with not much being different.

I completely fail to understand why the page will not load at all on my computer.

Edit: Never mind, I was being impatient.

I like the new interface but fail to see any improvements in speed or anything. But that's like finding fault with beautiful art, it will always be beautiful as a whole even though the imperfections remain.

Haven't seen much in the way of new features, the most visited tab is nice but I'll probably rarely use it. Still, it's certainly not WORSE than old versions, so there's nothing to complain about.

I have noticed that if you try to close a firefox window with multiple tabs open that it asks if you want to save your tabs and have them come up next time you get online. That's something new.

You can change the spell check language. Right click on a misspelled word and hit "Languages" on the little menu that pops up, then click "Add Dictionaries" if the language you want to use isn't on the list.

Well there was a plugin that did that for FF2. It's nice to see it incorperated though.
