#12
Posted 22 June 2008 - 10:16 PM
Eat moar cereal. I usually eat three bowls or so, and even after that I'm not stuffed. Lasts me about two and a half hours though.
Honey Bunches of Oats is great. So is cinnamon Life. Or even Honey Nut Chex.

also anything on circuits and generators...well ac/dc in general would be appreciated
my teacher talks to us like we've all dealt with these things before, but only the guys have. Then again there are only three girls in our class.
EDIT: oh shiz, snookums! I swear I'm on topic. food. food is good.

DC= Direct current. Electricity flows continuously in one direction. Since an electric signal in a computer needs to be sent all the way through the circutry, and not sent back, they use direct current. Direct current is commonly used in short-distance applications since many appliances use it.
Alternating current is usually converted to DC before it gets to an electric motor, unless the electric motor is designed to convert it itself. I think I have a book with diagrams that would help. Wouldn't be too hard to scan.
Anyway, I'm hungry now too. D: Plus I've got a headache. And that shrimp does NOT sound good anymore.

Well which one's current switches directions? Halfway through a turn, a generator that creats AC will switch polarity. The connection that was previously positive, then becomes negative.
At least I'm pretty sure that's it. I'll have to check it again. But you know, god created Wikipedia for a reason. :P

None taken; I don't like it much either. I mean, it's real nice in early spring/late fall, but that only lasts about a week or two. And we have a whole resevoir of gangster wannabes flooding in from "the south". Tucson has a higher crime rate than Phoenix, yet we have less people. GEE I WONDER WHY. =.=

I just took a legit IQ test at http://www.highiqsociety.org and got 127. I can become a member there now. XD
[EDIT] That puts me in the top 5% of the world population.
[EDIT] HO SHI-
I took it again and got 131! And the questions are entirely different each time!

It's true that most IQ tests aren't acurate for the plain fact of ethnic background, etc., but this one's legit. It's probably about the best one you'll find on the internet.

Only six of the questions in this one are about facts. All the rest have to do with deductive reasoning, mathematics, etc.
Go take it or I'll continue on insisting your IQ is below 90. :o

Or something like that. You get to talk to people who have a IQ of 124 or above, basically.
And if you spend $500, you get put on some list somewhere. I'd have to read it again.

Not really sure if you can measure Autsim like that.
On the spectrum of autism, I'm actually more or less half on half off. I have Asperger's Syndrome.
#166
Posted 01 July 2008 - 01:34 PM
and the only reason why iq tests seem unreliable is because just because you have a high iq doesn't make you smart, it is simply your capacity to learn. If you never bother learning, you will never be intelligent.
