So, I got a 360 this morning and NGII was one of the games I bought along with it. I must say, although it's not quite as good as the NG games before nor as difficult, it's in no way a bad game, even though I had my reserves before I got it. Honestly, I just love this game. You'll start laughing when you see yourself dismembering someone's arms and one of his legs, stabbing him through the chest, then decapitating him in a mess of gore and blood.

Yeah, this game's graphic, but it's not really the reason why it's good. The combos you can pull off with Ryu's weapons and all the other stuff you can do is awesome.

Is this a remake of the NES Ninja Gaiden 2?

I haven't played Sigma, but I did play Ninja Gaiden for the XBox. I like both games equally, although maybe I like NG a bit more because NGII's camera is a bit unruly and the bosses are designed poorly (Not in appearances). The gameplay is still very good, though, so if you have a 360, you should at least rent this game to try it out.

I meant to express indecision. :\ I'm not sure whether I like both games equally or I like NG a little more.

It's awesome, I played it for a few minutes at my friend's house. Got killed every minute and it didn't make me break my controller. I wanted to try again, and again, and again. *el muchos gasp*

Would you recommend it GSN? I mean, i'm not exactly what you would call a 'hardcore' gamer, and I dont exactly have a very good track record for frustrating games, however this game does intruige me quite a lot. Judging by my position on this, would you say it would be a good game for me to buy?

Then don't ever play Super Mario Land 1. You will break your GBC/GBA/SP in half.

I actually bummed Super Mario Land 2: Six Golden Coins. My game was messed up, so it never saved so I had to play through in one sitting, but the Halloween level and the tree level were immense.

I don't remember much of SML2. I remember a whale, and then the final castle, and that's it.

If you're frustrated easily, then you might want to start on the easiest difficulty and try that out before going on to higher difficulties. I've seen easily roused people get pissed off just on the easy or normal mode of the game. If you aren't frustrated easily, then you damn well better buy the game. XD Seriously, if you have patience and/or enough skill to handle at least normal mode without much difficulty, then this is worth your money.
