I want to use emulators on my PS3, and I wanna know if I'm gonna need to download the Yellow Dog Linux, Fedora, or some other OS, or if the "stock" OS still allows you to play roms?

To play emulators on my PSP, I needed to get the firmware hacked by a friend. I'm sure you'll have to do something similar with the PS3. We only have three members here (counting you and myself) that have PS3s to this date, so I think you'd be best poking around elswewhere.

I assumed as much because the PSP is like that. Thanks. Yeah, I'll try somewhere else.

I find that the PS3 OS sucks more.
Only because it's made by Sony.

Quit being a hater. I was joking to begin with.
Sony sucks, but I kinda like the OS they use.

@ Split-I want an SNES and PSOne emulator on my PS3, and I know it can be done, I'm just wondering if I have to change the firmware or the OS, because that's what you do for the PSP.
